Charlie Darwin Textiles is an artisanal, ecosystem-aware clothing brand run by me, Leah Widdicombe! I create earthy clothing that you'll love, using plant-based fabrics and dyes. This clothing is meant for all genders. Each piece is made to order and will be tailored to your custom body measurements. Every garment comes with scrap fabric and a mending kit to extend its lifespan, because I believe the garments you love should live long and biodegrade fast, not contribute to landfills!
On this channel, I will share tutorials, behind-the-scenes, and new creations. You can also look forward to seeing content related to being a sustainable fashion brand and a creative small business.

To all my curvy friends! I've already gotten loads of applicants for pattern testing the upcoming Olene pants pattern 🎉, BUT I am still in need of more applicants in the larger sizes! If you have a hip circumference of 49"-59" (124-150cm) and are available to test out the pattern (and take photos of your creation) between Oct. 1-14th, please fill out the application below! ⬇️⬇️ All skill levels and nationalities are welcome.

Hi everyone! Yesterday I tried posting a really good video about how to make/buy clothes that are more sensory-friendly -- but apparently only 1/2 of the video uploaded 😩 so I had to take it down! I'll work on fixing the file and you should see the full version posted again next week.
