What started as a small idea with a few resources has turned into a program making a huge impact in the South West corner of ND. We’re proof that even a small school can make big things happen. 💪 Check out how our students went from janky beginnings to creating something truly powerful with video.
With a heavy heart, I have some tough news to share. Unfortunately, the computer we rely on for our portable livestreams, like football and baseball, has reached the end of its journey. Despite our best efforts to fix it multiple times in the last year, we've realized that we need to order a new laptop to continue bringing you the live broadcasts from the HPS Stream Team that you’ve come to enjoy.
Until we get our new laptop in, we will unfortunately have to postpone any football streams for the next three home events.
I sincerely apologize to anyone who was looking forward to watching tonight's game from home. However, I strongly encourage you to tune in to KNDC, whether on 1490 AM, 106.7 FM, or on their website at kndcradio.com. They do a fantastic job, and we are proud to partner with them.
Nighthawk Nation! Maddox Pierce and Braden Jahner will play for Night Hawk Football this Saturday at the 50th Annual Shrine Bowl at Mayville State University. Best of luck to them as they gear up to play again! You can watch the game live or on demand at this link:
A big thank you to Nolan Dix for coming in and talking with our students about the live broadcasting industry and how sports play-by-play commentary works! Students had lots of questions and learned a lot from his visit!
On Tuesday, we started gearing up for the coverage of the annual Wake Up Santa parade! Starting this year and moving forward we will be pre-recording the event and uploading it after it is over, thus giving us a chance to give you the best quality we can provide. This year you can look forward to the following items:
- Revisiting the history of the parade - Fun Christmas Facts - Coverage of the fireworks - Holiday music by HPS band students - The parade
Also a big thanks to the Kiddos involved in the project (Joey Herold, Robert Larson, Tyla Laufer, Emily Prazma, and Phoenix Pratt). Wouldn't happen without you!!! Also a BIG thanks to Graphic Attic for sponsoring our coverage each year!
