ChatGPT literally created software for me so I can now start recording my Canon camera AND computer screen with ONE click on my Stream Deck. 🤯🔥

And that’s only part of what changed.

After hours of chatting with ChatGPT about improving my workflow, I went from considering a €6,000 Mac Studio to only buying a Stream Deck and a second monitor.

Before, I recorded tutorials on my iMac and my face separately on my Canon R6. Then I had to wait for the huge camera files to sync through iCloud to my faster MacBook before I could finish editing and exporting.

Now everything happens on one MacBook.

I record my screen in 5K, my Canon files go directly to my computer, there’s no waiting for iCloud, and my entire workflow is much faster.

And because we previously needed Adobe on three different computers in our house, I can now cancel our second Adobe subscription too.

I love how AI didn’t just help me create content. It helped me rethink and automate the entire production process.

Less waiting. Less equipment. Less cost. More tutorials for you! 🔥

What an amazing weekend! 🔥

A year ago, I became friends with a 19-year-old web designer (less than half my age 🤣) who started his agency after watching my tutorials. And now I’m learning from him!

While rebuilding our church website, he suggested something brilliant: export the Claude-designed website as a custom WordPress theme.

I tried it this weekend, and this is HUGE.

The website keeps the exact design, animations, and functionality Claude created, without forcing everything into a page builder. But clients can still easily edit the content, add blog posts, news, and agenda items.

They can change the content without accidentally destroying the design. 🙌

Even better: Claude can build functionality that would normally require paid WordPress plugins. Fewer plugins, more control, and potentially a faster website.

This might be the best Claude → WordPress workflow I’ve found so far.

I can’t wait to show you how it works and what it can do for SEO. 🚀

I’m done wasting my potential.

Today, September 1st, my new season begins: Season 2026-2027.

The last two weeks felt like preseason. It was a time to reset, get back into rhythm, and decide how I want to live. But now it is time to begin.

This season I want to become healthier and reach my ideal weight. Not through another extreme plan, but by learning to say no to cravings and value a strong, fit body.

I want to work when I work. No random browsing, entertainment during working hours, or spending too much time on things that barely influence the result. I want to focus on output: Helping people, creating value, and building things that matter.

I blocked Instagram, news websites, and streaming apps on my phone. I turned off notifications for 90% of my WhatsApp groups. My phone should help me progress, not steal my attention. And yes… Sometimes on the toilet, I can also simply look at the wall. 😄

I also want to finally learn how to outsource to AI or to another person. I do not need to do everything myself.

Most importantly, I want to know God and make Him known. I have been blessed with many material things, but they do not fulfill me in the long term. I want to spend time in God’s Word, be with Him, and experience everything He has for me. I want others to see what a life with Jesus can look like.

I want to become a better teacher and communicator. I want to learn more about websites, AI, and living with Jesus, and make difficult things easy to understand.

I want to invest in my marriage with Anna and be a loving, patient, approachable, and God-fearing father and husband. I want us to make amazing memories together.

I will keep reading every day. Books have changed my life. I want to learn how to communicate, sell, inspire, and become a better husband and father.

And I will no longer hold myself back because of what people might think. I want to be dauntless and uninhibited in sharing my ideas, tutorials, and faith.

Above all, I want to have joy and bring joy and love to others. Life is an amazing experience. We cannot control everything, but we can decide how intentionally we live it.

This is Season 2026-2027. Let’s make it count. 🚀

Great news! A few weeks ago, I created a new website for my church using Claude Fable 5. I registered a domain and published the site as part of a tutorial.

This morning, a church member messaged me because they were surprised - and a little concerned - to see an unfamiliar website appear when searching for our church on Google.

So I’m happy to confirm: Websites created with Claude can absolutely be found in Google’s search results! 😊

Today I turned 40, and when I look where I am in life today, I can't help but feel incredibly grateful.

I have a lovely wife, two beautiful children, wonderful friends, work that feels more like a hobby than a job and a home in a neighbourhood surrounded by people we truly enjoy spending time with.

What's changed the most over the years isn't just my life. It's my perspective on life.

There was a time when I was focused on making more money, achieving bigger goals, and paying off my mortgage. I believed that once I reached those milestones, I would finally be able to slow down and enjoy life more.

But somewhere along the way, that changed.

These days, I value peace of mind far more than reaching the next goal. I want to be fully present with the people I love instead of constantly thinking about the future. I am learning that life isn't something that starts once you've "made it." It's happening right now, and that's what deserves my attention.

Of course, life isn't always easy. There are difficult days, setbacks, and moments that test you. But one of the greatest lessons I've learned is that while I can't control everything that happens to me, I can always choose how I respond. That realization is incredibly freeing.

Circumstances only have as much power over me as I allow them to have.

So as I celebrate turning 40, I'm choosing gratitude. I'm choosing to focus on the people I love, the great moments I get to experience, and the things I can actually influence.

And if the first 40 years have taught me anything, it's that a meaningful life isn't built by chasing the next destination. It's built by appreciating the good things that are already in your life.

The U.S. government ordered Anthropic to shut down Fable 5 and Mythos 5 because of security concerns. Anthropic says the reported issues are minor and not unique to these models. The company is following the order and hopes to restore access soon.

In the meantime, you can use Opus 4.8 😊

I have been playing around with OpenClaw for a few weeks now and I am really impressed! My AI Agent even helped me to setup a succesful ad campaign! Something that a company that I hired was not able to do.

I also adjusted my website ferdy.com using my AI agent. It would cost me days or thousands of dollars to do what I did. My AI Agent did it for a few dollars 🤩
