🔹Hey! Welcome on Curvenist Musical Channel!
🔸I'm a music enthusiast who tracks down music from various video game universes to provide an OST-like listening experience using layered or separated music samples.
🔹I mix and enhance tracks by adding musical elements to elevate the experience, using the material to its advantage to create a unique editing structure… or simply uploading the file, depending on how the track was originally made.

Hola Hola! 😎
🆙⏸️ Thursday, May 1st – (Tracker) Music Editing Progress ↗️ 3 / 5 (MK11 Stage Music Editing)
So! I managed to complete the 3rd stage just before May 1st. I'm slowing down a bit tomorrow since it’s a holiday, but I might still get a few things done on the channel.
I'll be back this Friday to start working on the 4th stage, and I’ll do my best to complete the 5th stage edit as well, so I can stick to my estimate and begin video capture next week!
-- Currently enjoying the edits i made for the next batch so far 😎 It's killing it, you'll get some pre summer vibes with the new playlist. Mortal Kombat Music Enjoyers may like this one for real x) it's a little crunchier, but the editing is what makes the track feel as a whole and logic from the start to the end

Sharing some updates on the ongoing back-office work I'm currently handling!
🔸 I'm still in the music editing process for the MK11 reworked editions (The New Era Edition) — just a reminder — five stages are planned for the next release, which should be uploaded around mid-to-late May (so either the 3rd or 4th week)!
(🆕 info) — let's hope I meet my estimate this time 😆
🔹 At the same time, there's another playlist coming from a game that's been out for quite a while. I felt some of its tracks could use some "improved" editing for YouTube, so I tried my best to give them more power vibes — especially the most fragmented ones — because some of the base material was broken down into very... VERY short samples and loops!
🔹 It was quite a challenge to build some of the unofficial music tracks into a song-style format. (I'm not doing every single one, since many of them have already been uploaded by other channels — it's more about expanding the track library here, and also bringing in some of the unofficial tracks that still aren't available on YouTube’s music channels).
🔸 Next step starting next week: the video editing process! (I used to work on professional projects, so that's why I'm sharing a lot of back-office data.)
I'll also be doing the second audio reviews during that time to finalize the musical versions.
Keeping you in the loop!
... You're awesome — stay that way! 😎👉
... And feel free to check back on this post for the latest updates on what I'm working on!

Hey Folks! 😎
Week-end on sight! Good time to share a few things about the next batch of videos :)
I barely had time to breathe after finishing the first MK11 New Era Edition series, and I’m already back at it, working on new tracks. Oh, and maybe you noticed – character banners are now a bit more impactful.
Honestly, I’ve been brainstorming with GPT (yep, that’s right 😆 -- this parenthesis was added by GPT), and boom – the idea of tweaking colors and shapes to give characters more punch came up. Crazy times x)
So here’s a quick look at the current workflow:
🔶 MK11 New Era Edition: working on 5 new stage tracks – already underway!
🔶 Started a side playlist with unofficial soundtrack edits – I’ll probably drop those alongside the next MK11 batch. Still figuring out the visuals for this one.
Think of it like the Black Flag multiplayer tracks on the channel... but more hardcore, since I’m working with really short loops 😅
🔷 I thought about doing a quick FAQ… but I think i'll do this a bit later, and maybe not in community post format :)

Gosh! I really love this editing stuff!

Hey Everyone! 👋
🆙🛏️ Friday 18th April
Hola! So I should be making a new post either today or tomorrow 😴
I’m currently working on a double-universe soundtrack for the next batch — and honestly, there’s a wild amount of tracks that (I believe) have never been officially released.
I’m editing everything carefully to give them a real soundtrack treatment, because yeah… it’s a huge puzzle 🧩😅
Coming back in a few hours after some sleep to explain what’s coming!
🎵 MK11 – Next Track Re-Edition
➡️ Audio editing: (0.33 / 5) + (2.5 / 10 tracks for a second playlist – and it’s a great one 👀)
🟦 Video editing (mid-reviews in progress)
🟦 Final reviews
🟦 Export / Upload incoming
🆙➖ Stay tuned!
Hope you're having a great weekend!
The first batch of Mortal Kombat 11 New Era Edition re-edits is now live! 🎶🔥
🎉 Also — we just passed 900 followers! Thanks a ton for the support! YouTube's algorithm is picking up the music more and more, and that's thanks to you. 😉
🔹 What's New with MK11?
I'm giving MK11 a fresh rework, blending it with Mortal Kombat 1's visuals — better cameras, smoother gameplay flow, and more creative freedom with stage choices and character fits.
(Also, recording A.I. combos — when I used A.I. scripts — looks way better in MK1, less messy. 😅)
🔹 Musically speaking:
These new edits are more freestyle:
Some intros kick off directly, like in Injustice 2.
Others keep the classic MK intro/pause vibe.
I also used different parts of the loops for more dynamic starts... and other stuff that enhances the tracks. :)
🔹 Content so far:
Only 6 stages out of 22 are up — lots more coming! (TBH: I haven't even started the next edits yet. :D)
📝 Coming soon:
I'm working on an FAQ article for the channel — a little breather between project updates. (And yep, still busy with art assets and time-heavy music edits!)

📝 Quick Notice :
If you want a slightly more intense audio experience, (because YouTube tends to normalize and lower video volumes), you can use an extension like "Volume Booster for YouTube™".A setting around x1.2 usually gives a great boost for more impactful tracks, while keeping the audio quality clean!
Thanks for being around! Enjoy the music and see you soon for more stages! 🎵

Hello All! ☀️
I'm in the mood to share some updates!
🎉 (It's not April's fool) First off, as you can see from the animated frames i attached, there's a new variation of the Fields stage (Fields - Night) from the latest Mortal Kombat 1 update. I haven’t checked the music yet, but it doesn't seem like any new tracks were added.
That said, the colors and light reflections on the materials are clearly superior to Sunset Fields at first glance! :)
Not sure if it’s officially unlockable yet, but I’m accessing the stage using Ermaccer’s Hook.
🔥 Curvenist Channel has recently hit new heights**: more of you are following the content every day, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support 🙏
It really motivates me to push the video quality further and deliver some serious-looking edits and musical mixes!
🔶 As for music news!
I'm planning to drop the first batch of MK11 re-edited tracks in early April!
🔹 The remaining videos should be wrapped up in just a few days. This new music edition includes a few structural additions built from exploitable samples.
I tried to reshape the overall style into something more MK1-like — though not all track structures allow for that kind of creative mixing.
🔹 I also fixed a few tracks with sound mastering issues — like loops ending a few milliseconds too early, or the usual micro-clicks… classic surgical stuff.
🔹 Some sound connectors were borrowed from Injustice 2 and various other libraries when needed.
Doing my best to provide the most enjoyable experience in both visuals and audio, to make this edition pretty much OP :)
That’s also why the latest videos are taking more time xD
Hold tight, new videos are on the way!
Curv’
PS: The next post will probably be a little different — I’m thinking of doing a mini-FAQ (probably starting with questions I ask myself — and a few based on common requests too 🙂)

Hola hola!
🔹A quick weekend post to share some updates on the current re-edition of MK11 music 🎉
🔸I started video editing for the first batch of Mortal Kombat 11 tracks yesterday (and I'm also reviewing the mixes at the same time). So far, it's looking good! At first glance, you might be surprised by the way I decided to structure it, but in the end, it should be pretty cool to watch and listen to. :) I ended up following the original idea I had in mind.
🔹As usual, I don't have an upload date in mind yet. This batch is actually larger than the last two music uploads on the channel... but it will probably be quicker to produce than the latest Mortal Kombat 1 music 😉 --
🔹I'll keep you posted—have a great weekend!
And as for me… back to working on the videos! 😎

Hey Everyone!
🔸 As you probably already know from the last post, I'm working on a re-edition of the MK11 tracks. Just like Mortal Kombat 1 received its first batch of renewed track edits, I'm doing the same for MK11—because both the videos and the music edits could use a little rework! :)
🔹 About the part I was undecided on: I'll be using MK11 stages as backgrounds for the videos. I was considering MK1, but it just makes more sense to use MK11 assets for consistency. However, I don't have the same camera options at my disposal, so expect something a bit more classic — but with the new editing / art style!
🔸 The music mix edits are also being refined to enhance the listening experience.
🔹 As for MK1, a new season rotation is coming with a roster addition (Terminator 2 - T-1000). I'll be checking the files again to see if I can find any new raw music files to work on.
🔸 By the way, M. Joel Corelitz (from the Mortal Kombat 1 composing team) dropped by in the comments under one of his MK1 tracks (Gateway 2 early extended version) on the channel. Pretty cool! So thanks for passing by! 😎
As usual, keeping you posted!
Have a great weekend! 😊🎶

Hey Everyone!
🟦 Hope you're doing well! I've just uploaded the latest Mortal Kombat 1 tracks released for the Conan Patch in January – The Fields. The structure is somewhat similar to the first Khaos Reigns edit of the Wu-Shi Academy remix by Blue Stahli—only this time, I also played around with The Fields variations.
💡 Sunset Fields 3 actually has two versions: one is more classical, while the other includes a short introduction riff of the Floyd Theme in the middle of the song, serving as a climax before the third all-in repeat. I've also written an extension of this theme 😎 because the original phrase was too short (2 bars, whereas I had to write 12* to make it musically complete). I don’t usually do this kind of thing since finding the right samples can be time-consuming, but it’s something I can do when needed.
💡 The bonus track is actually Night Market 1 (story-style version). It's not the official campaign version used in Kampaign Mode, but I mixed it to sound like the typical in-game Story Mode version you’d experience.
➡️ And also, I almost forgot—I uploaded the AOE II Battle for Greece tracks I missed during my first upload (they’re cutscene-related). I initially left them out because I couldn't figure out which civilization could they belong to.
____
🆕 So! Since you're looking at a nice animated GIF teasing what's next—I'll be starting some MK11 remastered edits soon. I think the 2023 videos could use a little refresh. That said, I’ve had an idea in mind for a while now: I might use MK1 stages as video backgrounds since UE3 offers fewer camera tool options. But I wouldn't do this unless I had another idea in mind... which is actually implementing MK11 musics into MK1sound packages —for real.****
⏱️ There's still some time before I get to the visuals, as I need to figure out the music editing first. (And honestly, I still don’t know exactly how I’m going to approach that part yet.)
🟦 Of course, I’ll also continue working on MK1 musical reworks and new versions!
I'll keep you posted—have a great rest of the week!
— Reminder: this is just a fragment of the current backlog! :)
PS: I changed some channel assets to blue/grey tints!

Hello all!
Sharing some quick news (because it's been a while since the last post):
✅ I’ve just completed the new MK1 music videos for the upcoming batch today (it’s a small one), which I should upload in the coming days. I still need to do a few sound reviews and overall final checks before the upload, but the major part of the work is done.
➡️ I’m now working on some miscellaneous tracks for the Age of Empires II: Battle for Greece playlist that I forgot to upload last time I worked on the AoE videos. (It shouldn’t take long.)
💡 MK videos take time because I need to sync the visuals with the song’s rhythm. The song itself also gets extra work on the mix side— that’s the purpose of P2.
▶️ Next batch includes:
♫ 3 (+ 1 bonus track)* for Mortal Kombat 1 edited tracks (cool stuff coming!)
♫ 4* Age of Empires II: Battle for Greece "straightforward" tracks
Keeping you posted—I’ll try to include a picture to the post next time x)
Have a great rest of your weekend! 😎

Hola Hola!
Sharing some quick updates on my ongoing tasks! 🙂
Hope you're all doing well!
✅ I’ve completed the MK1 Pink Floyd challenge to unlock the secret stage. Not crucial for the music editing, but it’s one less thing to check off the list.
➡️ I’m starting work on the new Wu-Shi track variations today. Should come up with a few ideas once I dive into the editing process.
➡️ Also planning to upload some AOE II DE tracks — a few miscellaneous ones I forgot to edit and post. (Kinda niche music — it's not a main thematic piece.)
📅 When? Not sure yet, but the upcoming uploads shouldn’t require much video editing.
📝 After that, I’m working back on my medium-to-long-term backlog projects (MK1, MK11, RE4 complete edition with the DLCs, Tomb Raider rebooted franchise soundtrack from 2011 to 2017). This list doesn’t include any potential new games I might cover. And if new MK musical content drops, it’s definitely getting covered.
I’ll keep you all updated through this tracker!
Have a great day!*

Hey All!
🆙
08.02 : Quick overview of the midterm backlog of mixes :
➡️🟢Jumping on AOE II Battle For Greece few tracks I may have left behind,
➡️🟢 Working on MK1 Sunset Fields stage track (which is a variation of Blue Stahli Remix... remixed from Nathan Grigg Wu-Shi Academy).
🟡 MK11 remastered videos / tracks (maybe a bunch or the complete playlist of stories / stages)
🟡 MK1 remastered videos / tracks (i only mixed a fragment)
🟣Reworking the entire RE4 Remake videos + Mercernaries + Separate ways, make simpler stuff but aestheticly cool
🟣And i'm not even talking about Tomb Raider 2013 - 2017 reboot franchise (with rise of the tomb raider rework)
🆙🔚
I just pushed the first big pack of reworked MK1 soundtracks — this one took quite some time! I even spent a whole night exporting all the videos (it’s really time-consuming xD).
🎚️ About the new edits:
Strongest mix edits: TeaHouse Night III & Tomb of the Dragon Army III
Best for new experiences: TeaHouse Day I, II & III
General improvements: Several tracks now have better timing, smoother transitions, and even additional external instrument layers — I’ll let you discover your favorite tracks first! :)
From this list, I crafted a few story versions from the available materials:
➡️ TeaHouse Night III: TeaHouse Night fans, you’ll love the new edits on this one!
➡️ Tomb of the Dragon Army III: I didn’t give this stage much attention in P1, but it’s now one of my favorites in P2.
➡️ TeaHouse Day II: The practice version had lots of percussion variations, so I had to figure out which fit best.
I also mixed new intros for certain stages:
➡️ TeaHouse II & III: These aren’t in-game intros but custom ones I crafted from the existing audio bits.
📝 What’s next?
I’ll probably post an update after the weekend to share upcoming projects. For now, I have some miscellaneous edits to wrap up (AOE II tracks, MK1 Sunset Field — if I figure out how to pull it off). Then I’ll be heading to MK11. I plan to rework and publish the entire soundtrack again, probably with a different visual style than MK1 but definitely superior to my first MK11 uploads. More details soon!
Stay awesome, have a great weekend, and I’ll keep you updated on the latest mixing activity! 🎧
- And i thank the A.I for correcting my post in order to make a little more understandable ;)
