UPDATE, the video portion of the new David Poop is at an estimated 60% to 70% done (audio is complete). I won't have any time to work on it tonight because of a family Christmas function. However I SHOULD have time to work on and finish, and hopefully post the video at sometime tomorrow. I do this out of the love and passion for it, my channel is not monetized, and even with all the shorts I'm posting I don't know if it's possible for me to get monetized, but that's okay, I do this for the fun of it and I haven't posted a major YTP in a long time.
When it comes out, please do me a favor and share it with others if you like it, especially to anyone who likes YouTube poops! I'm really proud of this one!
A little behind the scenes. Back in the day I used to do all my sentence mixing & editing in the video clips themselves in my video editor, which was an older version of Windows Movie Maker. But due to the way the program worked it was sometimes difficult to make precise edits. Over time I began to edit in a separate audio program first because it's just easier when you use a program dedicated toward that. Here's a sneak peak look at the next David & the Magic Pearl Youtube Poop. I should be able to complete the video editing this week, hopefully before Christmas, as a sort of Christmas present for my subscribers. As you can see, there are a LOT of cuts. The video should be about 4 minutes and 15 seconds long give or take. If I come up with another gag then maybe a few seconds longer. But I've molded this into as perfect of a poop I can, I think you guys will really like this one. It's clear enough that it doesn't need subtitles but I think I"ll make an official subtitle track for it too.
Since the poll has leaned toward standard definition, I'll be going with standard definition, I figure if I wanted to upscale it eventually I could just upscale the poop after the fact instead of editing it that way.

Okay I think I know what the answer is already but I figured I'd ask... I'm not sure where my original rip of the movie is, so I'll have to take one off youtube. If I make a new David & the Magic Pearl poop, should I run the source video through an AI upscaler like Topaz Video or should I leave it be? (Look up the super mario anime 4k remaster, although I might not be able to pinpoint the settings to make it look that good) or should I leave it low quality/compressed?
