We are deeply saddened by the passing of George Kooymans. He will be remembered as an internationally acclaimed musician and songwriter with great musical talent and above all, a wonderful person. George was an inspiration to all of us and he will be greatly missed. Our sympathies are with his family and friends.

50 years after the release of the original album, a brand new remastered release of Golden Earring's album 'Switch' is now available on all platforms. Apart from a variety of previously unreleased outtakes and rough mixes, this reissue of Switch features an unreleased Golden Earring track âAction Alice & Bow-Tie Basilâ. Weâre super proud to announce the remastered release of Golden Earringâs album âSwitchâ from 1975. Itâs 50 years ago since the release of the album and it will be released on 25 April 2025.
Apart from a variety of previously unreleased outtakes and rough mixes, this 50th anniversary reissue of Switch features an unreleased Golden Earring track âAction Alice & Bow-Tie Basilâ. Recorded during the Switch sessions, this is the first time the band has approved a previously unreleased finished studio track for release.
This expanded CD edition of Switch is the sixth instalment in a special series of remastered & expanded albums by Golden Earring, overseen by Red Bullet catalogue and band archivist Wouter Bessels.

Itâs release Friday! The 3LP âYou Know We Love Youâ is out now! Itâs a live LP of Golden Earringâs last live show held at the Rotterdam Ahoy on 16th November 2019.
This live album is released in association with Music On Vinyl and is available as a limited edition of 5000 copies on gold coloured vinyl, housed in a trifold sleeve that features a collage of photos that fans submitted during the past year, plus a 4-page booklet which includes a replica of the original concert poster.
