Announcing t-shirts in youth sizes! It's been years (okay, decades) since we've had a dedicated kid's line, so check 'em out- they make great gifts! 👉 djshadow.com/collections/kids-apparel
Here we go! For the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be counting down my favorite remixes that others have done for me. There have been many amazing remixes of my music over the years, and this is a list of absolute gems from artists I massively respect. Starting off at #5, it's @machinedrum with his tasteful and layered reworking of "Six Days." Some remixes do too much, some barely change anything, but this one is juuuuuussst right. It may not look like much, but this post-it note from late 2001 represents the moment I decided on the title for my second solo album. I have similar "aha" scribbles for Endtroducing and Psyence Fiction as well. #ThePrivatePress#DJShadow
Congrats to the legend Jeff Chang on the completion of his latest literary masterpiece, Water Mirror Echo! My copy arrived yesterday, get yours at WaterMirrorEcho.net 📢🙌
I first met Dan The Automator (or just "Automator" as he was known then) at a dinner in San Francisco with the rest of the Solesides crew. I looked up to him as a local guy making what I saw as credible hip-hop, and was wowed by some of the records in his collection that I didn't know at the time. We became friends, and in October of 1992, he let me tape some of those gems in-between sessions for my "Entropy" single. #ALifetimeOfVinylCulture#Quannum#BayAreaHipHop

This song initially took shape during the making of Endtroducing, but didn't make the cut and wasn't finished until the week of the album release...just about 29 years ago this month. It finally debuted a month later as the B-side to the "Stem" single. #Endtroducing#MoWax
