I'm thrilled to share my passion for reviving the rich sounds of our cherished Konkani language through the timeless charm of analog vinyl records. This channel is my heart's project, dedicated not only to Konkani but also to celebrating the incredible heritage of Old English, Hindi, and other languages in their most authentic form—on vinyl.

If you have any vinyl records—be they 33s, 45s, or 78 shellacs—that you'd consider parting with, please reach out to me at grandpavinyl@gmail.com. I promise to carefully arrange their collection, and more importantly, to preserve their legacy on my YouTube channel. I believe in cherishing and preserving the old vintage essence for posterity.

Join me on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, where every record played revives a forgotten world of pure, warm analog music. I hope my channel makes you feel right at home, reconnecting you with your fondest childhood memories with every note that fills the air.

Let’s keep the vintage vibe alive together!

Grandpa VinEL

Does anyone from Holy Family Church, Chakala, India, who attended the 7:30 AM Konkani Mass between 2013 and 2018 remember Fr. Charles Vas? Today, I stumbled upon something truly special that brought back a flood of memories. While out record hunting, I discovered an Indian vinyl that caught my eye—the cover featured someone who looked very familiar. To my surprise and joy, it was none other than Fr. Charles Vas, SVD—the very priest I had the honour of serving as an altar boy during my younger days. I had no idea he had recorded music of his own!

Fr. Charles Vas was a kind-hearted and incredibly gifted man. If only I had known about this while he was still with us, I would’ve made it a mission to find more of his work. I feel so blessed to have found this treasure. His songs will soon be shared here on my YouTube channel. I’m truly overjoyed—words can’t quite capture how much this means to me.
