Today OpenAI revealed new model/tool - codex and I feel like everything lately in programming world is about the new AI model and it achievements, but honestly it does not affect my daily tasks that much. AI is helpful in many ways but I don’t feel it is a “crucial” tool in coding yet.
Maybe it is good time to remind newcomers in programming that it is still more important to learn how to code without AI than learning about new model benchmarks and prompt techniques every day.
