All apologetics/rhetoric aside- my honest review
Reading the Quran again for the second time has been painful. Honestly one of the worst books I’ve ever slogged through.
It constantly leans on the Bible like a crutch, assuming you already know the full stories of Moses, Jesus, Abraham, etc., from Scripture.
Without the Bible filling in the gaps, half of it makes no sense. But when it tries to retell those same stories? Total mess. Lazy, confused, and full of errors (Mary as Aaron’s sister, Haman in Pharaoh’s court/tower of Babel, etc.).
The Quran can’t stand on its own. It’s parasitic on my Bible, yet mangles what it borrows.
And the challenge to produce something like it? Smh. This disjointed, repetitive rant is supposed to be inimitable perfection? Please 🤣
