The many hardships and misunderstood things we go through become crystal clear in light of ministry.
We scoff and complain during the trials but are ever grateful when we help someone through their own seasons of tumult.
God knows just how much we can take that will stretch us and develop strength for the edification of His saints.
We must remain maliable and allow Him to conform us into His image.
He will make us able to connect with people who are going through those same trials and allow us to speak truth and life over them, and then it will all make sense.
Through Him, we can become beacons of light and help them navigate through the rough seas of life, all for the sake of the gospel that we may share with them in its blessings.
When we die to self, we lose all of our own identity and become a new creation altogether.
Our own ideas and drive are somehow not important anymore.
We now are interconnected and being led by a voice that is louder than our own.
The loudest voice in my head space is gentle and lowly, still and meek.
Im constantly renewed and restored from the onslaught of criticism and negativity that was prevalent in times past.
We remember His Words, we meditate on His movements, we study His responses, we mimic His life, we have our direction, we move with a purpose, making every step count for His Name sake.
God's wisdom is displayed through the insane amount of freedom he has entrusted to each and every human being on planet Earth.
We create new ways of sinning with our liberty, creating chaos and confusion within and outside of our camp.
But when a man decides to obey and choose Jesus's plans over his own autonomy, God is blessed and honored without coercion and manipulation, which brings peace to a sinners' heart and mind.
This is transrational, far surpassing human intellect, and it's experienced on the other side of obedience, not a moment before.
We can't expect to understand the entirety of a wars outcome before we enlist. It's not becoming of a soldier to ask for a guarantee of safe return before engaging in combat.
We must trust that He is in full control and that nothing is missed on Him, His arm isn't too short to save, that even in the face of nonsensical casualties, we are on the winning side.
Our hearts break when we, who have been transformed, see the depravity of humanity.
We cry out for those who are self destructing, spiritually blind and deaf, being driven off cliffs and drowning by the droves.
We know the only One who can rescue them because we were once lost and helpless, and what He did for us He can do for them.
When we could finally see the trickery and deception, we were appalled at the massive level of wickedness in lofty places, masquerading as "progressivism."
Now, we who know Him, who truly know Him, are willing to stand in the gap, speak truth in love, lay down our lives, and become fools for Christ.
God desires to encompass our entire state of being, 24/7/365.
We yield, He fills.
We check out, He grieves.
This is the highest calling of our Christian life, every second of every day, knowing that He is leading and acknowledging that we are, in fact, in His pleasing will for our lives.
We move from measuring His presence by feelings and emotions to knowing His Word and immutable character, manifested in and through the life of Christ.
We remember Him, by faith we "don't see, and believe." Knowing that even the least in the Kingdom of God is greater than those born of woman.
We put our faith into practice by daring to believe what the Bible actually says.
His Word is trustworthy and true, reliable to the utmost, never returning unprofitable, always on time, and able to bear the weight of a life built upon it.
We just choose to believe or not. The challenge is to let faith rise over our common sense, over what our bodies scream and what the general consensus says.
This is what moves the heart of God, He is pleased with those who relentlessly pursue His will, He rewards those who refuse to get offended by His seeming inactivity after long fervent seasons of supplications. The man who truly believes that God can literally do anything will see greater and greater things happen.
We only need to trust that His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts.
When we pray the paint off the wall and nothing changes... we never stop praying and believing that God wants to heal, God wants to restore, God wants to reconcile, God wants to provide.
His nature is always good and we can trust His silence as an invitation to go further with Him and press in as a persistent widow and a friend at midnight.
This is an age-old question that we need to know before taking our last breath.
The answer is simple. Jesus.
He places His Spirit in us, sealing us with His perfection and innocence, He gives us new life, and we don't see or hear things like we used to.
Conviction sets in, and we know when we grieve His Holy heart, we don't want to do those things that we used to find pleasure in, only what His Word has revealed to us.
Our spiritual hunger increases, and our carnal mind decreases.
We crave His Word, we crave His presence, we have tasted and seen and still want more.
We simply confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead.
All who call on The Name of The Lord will be saved.
If we will fall in love with Jesus, everything else will take care of itself.
Our commitment and zeal for His house are directly connected to our love for Him.
We interact with this world on the basis of our position in Christ Jesus, we love because He first loved us.
People are not merit badges that we place on our vest to substantiate our claim to Christ. They are Image bearers of God, beautifully, wonderfully made, they are worthy of our witness.
When we remember where we have come from, where we deserve to go to, and the cost of our redemption, it's only natural to extend the invitation to everyone we meet.
We were once the lost sheep. We were once the prodigal, we were once the tax collector and the Pharisee, but God took us and washed us in the blood of Jesus Christ.
Now we stand sanctified and justified in the Name of The Lord and by The Spirit of God.

Our indecisiveness for Christ while God was drawing us to Himself resulted in the adversary having a field day with our lives.
We distinctively heard His invitation and allowed condemnation to keep us in our self-made prison of shame.
This is where so many people become hostile towards a loving God. They're so close to the Kingdom, but so far away in their own minds.
But God was faithful even when we were not.
God made a Way where there was no way, He never gives up on His own.
The instant we surrendered, He blotted over our rebellion and hostility, and we immediately knew that He was there the whole time.
If we believe not, yet he is faithful, He can not deny himself. (2Tim 2:13)

Legalists say, "Touch not, taste not, handle not."
Liberals say, "Sin as much as you want, Grace abounds all the more!"
Both miss the mark.
Our sinfulness was scandalously exchanged for His righteousness on the cross.
He who knew no sin became sin.
We, who were guilty became innocent.
Jesus's blood now covers us, from the tops of our heads to the bottom of our feet, allowing us access to the Holy of Holies.
We come boldly into the throne of grace, not based on anything we have or haven't done, but solely based on what He did for us.
