THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!!!

I just watched the new live action HTTYD. I can tell you, I would definitely recommend watching it.

The original was super iconic and always will be. But this new adaptation adds a new flavor that knocks my socks off.

First off, the storyline. Same as the original? Absolutely, but the additional scenes and dialogue make it make more sense, gives more character development, and basically adds a lot more depth to the story.

Now let’s talk about the visuals. How the heck did the makers of the movie manage to replicate the original so perfectly on some of the shots? And the dragons?? Don’t get me started! They were SO well done! They managed to make Toothless look real yet still so cute!!

Lastly, let’s talk about the characters. I kinda like Astrid’s new look, and Ruffnut and Tuffnut too (go redheads!). Gerard Butler coming back as Stoik was totally awesome! And Snotlout? As a kid, I hated Snotlout deeply. But looking at this new version of him, I honestly kinda feel sorry for him.

Overall, I thought this movie was the best adaptation of an animated movie of all time.

Update on my song Fire (the song I posted demo audio for)

I just cannot get the chorus right, I have redone it about four times. I’m thinking about discarding the entire song, cuz I’m losing my patience with this song. I have other songs I have written, but if they don’t work out I’m not gonna do this music thing anymore. If it’s futile, it ain’t worth my time. I wasn’t planning on making this so long, just had to explain.
