I know I have been quiet lately, but I absolutely cannot wait to share what I've been working on. I can't really post the best screenshots here, but these are two features of the upcoming version 2.0 of Performance Manager: Driver History, and Sim Update History. No more wondering, no twisting yourself in knots to try and figure it out. An overview of all your drivers and all your sim updates: how did they perform? Simple questions, simple answers.
I cannot wait to get this out in the hands of the simming public.

Just did a pretty good video on crosswind landings to leave you all with something to do while I'm gone... and it didn't record the mic audio. So...
I am heading out for two weeks, to what those of you who know me know is my favorite place on God's green earth: Anguilla. I have literally worked 7 days a week for at least the last 6 weeks, and I'm ready for some time off.
I will be keeping in touch both here, but especially through Discord and Patreon. So feel free to join me over there, we'll be doing some REALLY fun flying in the Caribbean:

Until then...

Yes, I'm still alive. Things with my newest project(s) is/are progressing well. One thing I decided was that I didn't want to pay someone else to distribute my next project, so I decided to create a platform to do it myself. To say I've bitten off a lot is a rather large understatement. There's a reason nobody thinks to themselves, "I think I'll create a software distribution platform". Four-plus weeks of 7-days, no time off. Not only can I not wait for this to be over, I cannot wait for you all to see what I've been up to. It's pretty wild. Hoping for next Tuesday (8/18).

I've been a little quiet over the past few weeks... and there's a good reason.
What started as a performance testing project turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
I just wrote about what happened, what I've been working on, and what's coming next.

New Patreon Bonus Video
I just uploaded a 40-minute Caribbean island flight that started as an AutoFPS test and turned into a discussion about performance philosophy, flight simulation, aviation, and life.
No script. No presentation. Just flying and talking.
Patreon link in comments.

Sometimes testing produces interesting results.
I am the world’s worst Airbus pilot. You could put a blindfolded Orangutan in the cockpit and they would have just about as much chance of getting the flight entirely right as I do. So it would be odd that I chose the Fenix A320 as the jet for my baseline jet testing (drivers, betas, sim updates, etc.). The reason is that the Fenix works (or has so far) in all of the betas, whereas historically, my preferred PMDG 738 has not.

If you spend 20 minutes a day on your phone - just 20 minutes, scrolling through nonsense - that adds up to 5 DAYS a year. Five full days out of 365. If you did that for 73 years it would be an entire year of your life.
It is an advertising platform. That's all mobile phones are. That's all YouTube is. An advertising platform. Remember that when something is free, you are the product.
I've been thinking about this for a long time. Video incoming.
(I spent an average of 4 hours, 54 minutes on my phone last week. Embarrassing.)
