Hey guys, little end of the year update.

So, I know I dropped the ball on the channel this year. ADHD aside, I felt really burnt out trying to juggle my irl job, YouTube, and my art stuff. To be honest, I think I took on too much to the point of it kinda paralyzing me. I constantly think of all the things I should be doing but this kinda overloads my brain and I end up doing none of them. I've been thinking on how to scale back; I still wanna do music stuff on YouTube, but I also wanna do art too, and obviously what I was doing before wasn't working. So, starting next year, here's what I plan:

- Individual album reviews are no more. Instead, I'll be uploading one video a month (at least) of me basically just taking about what I've been listening to and enjoying over the course of that month, whether old or new. This could be songs, full albums, etc. I figured this way the channel can be purely about recommending good stuff to you all, and the casual format could encourage more discussion and let others recommend things, too.

- One video at the end of the year where I go over my top 10 albums of the year, most likely with some runner-ups, too. This is a bit of a compromise so I can essentially do some mini-reviews of the best of the best. Plus, I still like to make lists and rank things. This satisfies that urge within me, too lmao

- Every so often, I plan on doing something I suggested before and upload some mini documentary-style videos where I either go over the history of a genre I like or create a sort of "starter pack" like the ones that were popular a while back. I liked those, so I think it would be fun to make a video about some of my favorite albums/songs from a given genre or band to help more people get into them, for example (kinda like what I used to do on my TikTok).

This is my plan for now. Understandably this won't be for everyone so I totally get it if you wanna unsub or something. However, for the time being, this looser style and schedule is the best thing for me if I wanna keep being involved in all the things that I like. ADHD blessed me with so many interests but cursed me with the mental aptitude to do so few of them consistently lmao

Hey everyone! As a little update, I'm in the process of moving rn so uploads are continuing to be put on pause. It might be a little while until I can upload again, and I don't have an exact time frame for now. I'm gonna keep posting art on my socials in the meantime to try and remain a bit active, but music-related stuff is on hold still. Sorry for all the delays and I hope to get back to it soon!!

Still casually working on getting more scripts/videos done but I'm still not sure when. Trying to unlearn a lot of annoying and unhelpful thought processes/routines from my ADHD; hoping I can get everything started up again soon, but no set date for now. Thanks for the patience, everyone!!

Videos might be slow this month or pushed entirely into January next year. I'm working more at my job and the holiday rush is leaving me DRAINED, plus I'm still trying to find the best way to manage this ADHD shit that I'm plagued with. Appreciate the patience and I'm still doing some scripts here and there so I can maybe do an uploading spree when I get some free time 🫡

This week's videos will be coming out on Thursday and Friday! I have to record them on Wednesday when it's cooler because it's been consistently around 105 degrees here and I am NOT turning a bunch of recording lights on rn lmao

Oh by the way, in addition to the videos next week, I'm in the planning stages of a deep-dive video essay-styled project!! All the kpop fans in my audience or people who just wanna know more about the scene might find it interesting :D

It's gonna be a ways out but I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the month!!
