It seems that the infamous banana airline: Spirit Airlines is shutting down this Saturday in the U.S after a series of bankruptcies, failed financials, and even a failed merger with JetBlue. Spirit Airlines, being the U.S's iconic ultra low cost carrier, was best known for offering very low base fares for their flights, while charging for almost everything else like bags, choosing seats, and inflight services. The airline was also known for exaggerated memes and slanders, and as well as NEVER having a fatal accident.

While I haven't tried any of these U.S carriers, let alone living in the U.S, I feel like I should make a video on the Spirit Airlines Shutdown, as it played a huge role in the budget airline industry.

Which of these do you wanna see more from me? (Feel free to suggest or expand)

Here are the ones I am thinking of now.

- Flight simulator (full flight): One already exists on my channel, it's basically me replicating a real life flight, same aircraft, same airline, same route, same time in a flight simulator. It'll be more of a cinematic video where you get multiple views of the aircraft during the flight, including cockpit views, pushback, taxi, takeoff, cruise, landing and etc..

- Flight simulator (challenges): These take inspiration from flight sim YouTubers like Swiss001 and Purely Flight, it's really just presenting myself with things like inflight emergencies, participating in flight simulator community events, and maybe some custom made by me!

- Aviation stories: These will be a broad range of mini documentaries and essays about aviation accidents and incidents, some general 'video essay' like topics for example: The History of American Airlines, Why does Japan have so many airports on reclaimed land, How Airbus nearly went bankrupt, etc... Thing you may see on Ice711, Wendover Productions, and Mentour Pilot.

- Facts about aviation: These will lean more to an educated approach and will be videos or shorts about various aviation and flying concepts, similar to LuxPlanes.

Check out my tripreport on the RETURN flight from Taipei to Hong Kong onboard Cathay Pacific’s regional Boeing 777 economy class, while it is the same route, same airline, same aircraft, same cabin.. I have to say despite delays, there was some great service onboard, and I even got a window seat! (Unlike last flight)

This Lunar New Year holiday provided me with a great opportunity to review Cathay Pacific's busiest route: Hong Kong to Taipei onboard their regional Boeing 777s! With a whopping 438 seats in total on this regional configuration, I share my experiences to you, giving insights on small, but generous meal offerings, the seat which hits all the spots for a regional short haul, and be warned! You might have a bit of an issue when traveling aboard Cathay's regional 777s..

During my trip to Taipei, I spent some time Planespotting at what I call a 'St. Maarten' airport, this aircraft viewing alley I went to offered me exactly just that! Taipei Songshan Airport has a dedicated aircraft viewing alley with dramatically low landings, as well as some turboprop action, which is honestly quite rare in this part of the world..

In a few days, I’ll be heading to Taipei, Taiwan for a holiday! On the flight, I want to try and film a trip report and document my flight experience for the first time.. question is, do you want to see one trip report of the flight to Taipei, or both the departing flight and return flight?

However, I want to try and do the trip report on a window seat, as I’m following a tour guide to Taipei and I don’t actually get to choose the seat.
