This got drowned out by my superboss analysis, but the second part of the Lobotomy Corporation story analysis is also out.

This is the biggest video I've ever made, so any help in sharing it around will go a long way. I'm hoping that this video will stand as my strongest argument for funding the editing on the Ruina project next, especially since I'm about to be without an income for a while. If you've already watched the video and loved it, you're awesome.

Lobotomy Corporation and the Ascent to Divinity is now out, but along with it comes a bonus video. For those of you who were interested in the two superbosses of the game, my video covering them has now released to the public. These sort of videos will hopefully become a standard going forward, as a way to thank members while I work on the main videos. Hope you all enjoy!

As we near the release of my biggest project, I wanted to share some of what we've been up to. We have officially created and finalized drafts for every version of LobCorp part 2, meaning it will likely be released early for members next week, and then a few days later for everyone. Along with that the Apocalypse Bird and WhiteNight video will go free for everyone, and we will be releasing several small "making off" videos. For now, I'd like to leave you all with possibly the most cursed thing I've ever created, for reasons only I can say.

After LobCorp I'm taking a break from Project Moon. I will be working on a small video about the OPUS series, which is mostly scripted and recorded and just needs to be edited together.

I have a bit of a problem. In the coming few months, there will likely be a period where I won't have an income at all. I'm quitting my job that I hate in order to shift careers completely (no I am not doing YouTube full time), but during the transition time there is no way to guarantee I will be able to consistently make enough to pay my monthly costs, and will be siphoning funds from a fairly large (but not that large) savings that I've built up in preparation for this. Because I want to know all of my options, I turned on YouTube ads for the last week to see how much I actually would make. Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate doing this. It's not the idea of making money off of ads, it's how predatory YouTube's ads specifically are.

Now I look at how much I made in that month and realize that... that could actually make a sizable dent in food bills. But... my morals...

For now, I'm turning them off again. But I wanted to be transparent about this. In the coming months I might enable them again as a last resort, and if I do end up doing so, I'm going to say so. My eventual goal is to stabilize, but given the current state of the US... yeah, who the hell knows what stable is anymore. All I can say is that I have a plan going forward and I'm fairly confident it will work out in the end.

I know for most of you this really doesn't matter. Please, by all means, use ad blockers. YouTube is shitty and I'm fairly certain I will be fine regardless, but this is now always on my mind. I've always been anti-ad, so this feels like scrubbing my skin with sand paper. It bothers me enough that it felt gross to even enable them in the first place.

Gebura, Chesed, Binah and Hokma are all currently being worked on, with the final draft of Gebura and Chesed up for a preview for anyone in the Discord server this Thursday. I'm hoping to finish up Part 5 and 6 of the Lobotomy Corporation video by the end of this month. We're going the extra mile with Binah and Hokma given how important they are. I actually reached out to some voice actors for them, and hopefully we'll be able to really blow it out of the park.

Unfortunately I need to be somewhat careful financially for a while, so once we finish part 5 and 6 I'll be going dark again until next month. Next two sections are huge though.

A massive thanks to everyone who is still supporting as a member or on Patreon. If you're at Firekeeper or higher you also have access to the various drafts I've been putting out. I also have a few ideas for members only videos down the line. Everyone who isn't a member though? You'll have to wait until the entire thing is out before getting a peek.

I also wanted to let everyone know that we're not going directly into Library of Ruina after all of this is done. I need some more time for that script to finish, but at 25 pages currently it's my biggest script ever. Instead I'll be working on a short VN series called OPUS, which is getting its 4th installment near the end of the year. Look forward to that!

Anyway, back to work.
