Hello! This channel will focus on remixes, mainly city pop and jazz fusion, for video game music. We're going as far back to SNES titles to even modern day titles to the PS5. There's no limit here! Feel free to leave a suggestion for a possible remix video, and I'll see what I can do! Enjoy your stay, feel safe and get cozy!

I also take commissions! Please look around here to do so on my Ko-Fi page(ko-fi.com/cgtio).
Album downloads are also available there.

URGENT Update!
My Bandcamp channel has been wiped from the face of the earth without warning(as well as other ai-assisted creators), so I'd recommend that anyone who has bought something on my page to ask for a refund on Bandcamp if you didn't download any albums after purchasing this month. The majority of my albums were properly organised on Bandcamp, so my master files are a mess to go through manually to organise, especially when my free time is pretty much limited nowadays, but I can work on it slowly by prioritising the most popular albums on the channel.

For now, I'll use my Ko-Fi page(ko-fi.com/cgtio). Tip ¥1000 for an album(please write what game you'd like in the tip comment section) or ¥10,400 for my entire discography. Obviously, distribution for my entire discography will take way more time compared to a single album. I'm also planning on uploading my files to Mediafire for the best storage and speeds for everyone's convenience. For anyone who got screwed over by Bandcamp due to my missing albums, contact me via Ko-Fi and send over proof of purchase. I'll handle your request when I have time.Payment methods as of now will be limited to Paypal, and if there enough demand, perhaps I can also branch out to Stripe payments.

Quick Update!
I've listened loud and clear. Earthbound will be the 100th album featured on the channel. I should get there eventually in the next 2 or 3 months depending on my upload speed, but I hope it'll be well worth the wait for you all!

Okay, it's been long enough since the vote we had for the 100th video on the channel and here are the final contenders. I'll let you guys choose what'll be worked on and hopefully it'll release next month at the latest!

In other news, I've been slightly burnt out from working on city pop lately, which is reflected in the slow uploads as of late. I've been working on remixes for other genres lately and that has helped me still enjoy the process of everything.

Take care!

Update Time!
I'm officially on break from work for 2 weeks, so I'd like to work some more on the channel before travelling from this coming Friday. I should have scheduled releases that'll cover 8 albums over the next 2 weeks, starting with Street Fighter 4 tonight. Here's what I'm currently working on.

Note: The Pokemon Crystal/Yellow albums will be a vocal rich album.
Sonic Adventure & Breath of the Wild have been collecting digital dust for the past few months(just not satisfied with the current results and losing motivation tbh), but I still have their templates on my unreleased Bandcamp page. Other games I'm planning to work on include Dead Rising 1/2, Mario Party 4, Mario Kart 8. I'm also low on credits atm to use with my sampling software, so I can't do anything else but work on what I currently already have to edit.

See you all next time!

Update Time!
It's been 4 weeks since my last post. I'll be honest, my private life has gotten busy lately(💍), and I've kinda gotten into the groove of things now when it comes to handling my channel, so there's not a lot for me to divulgee nowadays.

As the channel's grown, I've gotten a lot more requests from you guys. In general, I'll consider it if it's a game I've actually played/listened to in the past that I actually enjoyed(I barely even have time to play new games nowadays due to my work schedule, let alone finding the time to listen to random OSTs). For anything else, to be honest, I won't be even considering it unless it's a commission, or if enough time has passed to the point in 5+ years where I'm struggling to find more games to work on.

On average, I work on an album for 10+ hours when it comes to 16 track albums(and that's factoring in if I'm already familiar with the music beforehand and everything goes smoothly, which isn't always the case). Of course, I'm able to do a lot of grunt work while commuting on my long train rides to work and home, so that cuts a fair amount of time, but recommending obscure titles doesn't logically make sense, even if it has a 'killer' soundtrack, especially when I don't have an emotional attachment, so it definitely feels like work when it shouldn't(talking from experience here). As always, I want to be transparent with you, my subscribers, so I just wanted convey what was on my mind as of late.

Of course, some of you are already probably thinking 'come on dude, you'd make killer views if you worked on 'this''. First off, I've already done a fair share of those types of games and they've died in the water to bigger and smaller channels, even when I was the first one to remix it in this particular style the channel is known for(TFW not blessed by the Youtube algorithm😔)

I'm already burnt out from trying to catch views, so I'll just enjoy my time working on what I want to do, which is bringing life to childhood/adulthood favourites in city pop form!

Weekly Update!
Sorry for missing out on last week's, but there was literally no change with my situation at the time, so I didn't see much point in posting.

Good news! I finally got my sampling software working again, and there's even a new update available now, so that may help with finishing older projects I had left on the shelf.

My holiday started from last Saturday and I went traveling for a few days, but now I'm back at home and now ready to make up for some last time until I eventually get back to work next Wednesday, so I may be putting out even more albums than usual during that time!

I'm also looking for album listening testers to give me feedback on individual albums before the whole world gets to hear the finished product. I'm usually confident in games I grew up with, but I'm sometimes lost without a second opinion while working with games I'm not too familiar with, so I could definitely use some help(especially when doing this entirely solo). Anyhow, if you're interested, please contact me via Discord(the link can be found on my main page).

Take Care!

For anyone interested in downloading my albums, you can now save yourself a fair bit of money with the 'Bandcamp Friday' promotion today when purchasing my entire discography: cgtio.bandcamp.com/

Weekly update!
As seen from last week's poll, Nintendo stands out on top with a staggering 52% votership. To be honest, the majority of videos so far have been predominantly Nintendo-based games, so I don't think much will change going forward😂.

In other news, I have something pretty bad to announce. The A.I model I use to help with samples has been acting strange the past week with incredibly inconsistent and atrocious results and I'm still waiting for a reply from the support staff...until then, I'm out of gas. I have 3 complete albums left available at the moment, so I'll be releasing 1 per week(in addition to singles uploaded every day) while waiting for this issue to resolve. If it's not fixed within the next 2-3 weeks, I may have to look for an alternative to count on...When everything is sorted out, I'd like to go to a biweekly release schedule.

I hope to come with better news next week! Here's a sneak peak of what I want to work on when everything gets going again. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Time for another weekly update! I've been busy the past few days, but I'll be uploading a new album and a few tracks once this post has gone live! Not much to note in the way of updates this week, unfortunately.

I guess I'll leave you all with a question: which of the following would you like to see more on the channel? Picking one or the other doesn't mean that I won't cover anything else. It merely means the coverage percentage on the channel may increase by 20-30%. It'll help me in knowing what to prioritise going forward.

Time for another weekly update! A bit late, but better that than never! Here's what I have on my backlog. No changes for Tekken. I'm still not satisfied with how Sonic Adventure is, and the same applies for Zelda. I might be a bit more proactive, but I'm practically nearly out of credits that I use to make use of the A.I software I have, so that may not happen until my credits refresh on the 16th April.

I've had a few comments from certain viewers in regards to their dissapointment with how I've handled certain songs, and those are fair assessments. There are times where I simply can't get a song to work traditionally, so I opt to make it into a vocal song, but would it just be better if I called it a day and skipped certain songs, even when they're fan favourites? I guess we'll vote on it! I can't make an image post AND a poll post, so please upvote 'yes- skip out on songs' or 'no- add a vocal song'.

Once I've cleared out my backlog, I'll probably go back to bi-weekly releases until I build up another backlog.

I hope you all enjoy your Sunday and I'll catch you all later!

Time for another weekly update! I usually post these at night on Friday(JST), but my work schedule has changed this week to Tuesday-Saturday permanently, so I'll probably post these around the same time as now going forward.

I've seen the results from the polls and the majority of you are in favour of monthly vocal remixes of past songs on the channel! I'll be starting a monthly remix album from next month, so expect the first video to release around the last day of April.

In other news, thanks for the support on the channel! I'm truly grateful as usual for the wonderful and supportive comments. I've also gotten way more requests as of late, and to be honest, it's quite overwhelming, which is why I decided to open up a membership program where you can guarantee an album releasing(the highest member perk) or a 3-song request(medium perk). These will also refresh each month, so if you really want to hear your favourite game albums in my style, please consider it, but make sure to consult with me first on Discord to ensure that any issues won't pop up. Of course, as of now, I'm prioritising my own personal favourite games and fan favourites, so if you're really into obscure games that I probably won't know about, it's worth checking out!

I want to stay as transparent as possible with you guys, so here's what to look forward to in the coming month! In addition to what's not listed here, I HOPE to also release, DBZ:Budokai 1-3, Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories, FF8&10, KH1, Civ5(Let's pray this even works...), TMNT:TiT, Parappa 1&2, Smash: Brawl, Skies of Arcadia, MK64, PSO1&2. Depending on my mood, I may just work on different games entirely xD.

Anyhow, I hope everyone's able to chill and relax during this weekend. Take care and see you all next time!
