For me, finding the right topics has been critical. Several of my videos have been kicking ass, one has gained over a thousand subscribers in just a handful of months, and others keep pulling in views every single day.
That kind of growth got my head spinning, so I locked in and started building a YouTube app designed to help creators find those winning ideas on purpose.
One of the things I love most is how it guides the user. It doesn’t just spit out topics, it helps you understand what makes a great one versus what doesn’t.
It shows whether a phrase feels positive or negative, whether it’s in a crowded space or one with low competition but plenty of demand. It’s fascinating and unlike anything else I’ve seen on the market.
Progress hasn’t exactly been snappy, but spending three or four months to build something like this feels completely worth it. I can’t wait to share it soon.
What would you add to this tool if you were building it?
How I Think About Crafting Clickable Titles on YouTube 🤨
When I sit down to write a title, I’m not thinking about SEO or search. I’m thinking about clickability — what makes a viewer stop scrolling and say, “I have to watch this.”
Here’s how I break it down:
⸻
Anchors 🤨
• Anchors are the core idea. They’re the must-have words that tell YouTube exactly what the video is about. Example: • “YouTube algorithm” in what does the YouTube algorithm favor • “YouTube monetization” in new YouTube monetization rules 2025 • Why they matter: Anchors make sure your video is connected to the right audience. They give YouTube confidence about where to recommend your video. • Pro tip: Don’t skip the anchor. Build around it. Wrap curiosity, emotion, or tension around it, but keep it in the title.
⸻
Modifiers 🤨 • Modifiers make it irresistible. They’re the words that add intrigue, urgency, or specificity. Example: • “favor” in what does the YouTube algorithm favor • “fast” in grow YouTube channel fast • “without ads” in make money on YouTube without ads • Why they matter: Modifiers are where the click happens. They turn a boring statement into something that feels fresh, urgent, or personally relevant.
⸻
The Combo 🤨
The magic happens when you combine anchor + modifier in a natural, curiosity-driven way. • Too anchor-heavy? Feels boring. • Too modifier-heavy? Feels clickbaity. • Balanced? That’s where you get titles that pull in views and keep your audience happy.
⸻
Example: • Plain: YouTube Algorithm Explained • Clickable: What the YouTube Algorithm Really Favors 🤨

I ran a poll recently and over 75% of you said you’re not comfortable watching AI-made videos.
That really shows how divided things are right now, I honestly feel the same mix of curiosity and concern.
I’m probably going to talk about this more in my next video, and I’d love your feedback to help shape it.
What do you think people most need to hear about AI and where we’re at right now?

👉 Over the last year, my best videos came from choosing the right topics at the right time.
I’m building a tool that helps identify strong topics and turn them into great titles and thumbnails.
What would you want a tool like that to do?
