First 5 pictures are unnamed so far, then 4 of Storm, then one of them together. Brought them home today, they’re 4 months old - 26/06 is their birthday, they’re really friendly and playful.
Hi. I have some unfortunate news relating to Smokey. As said in my previous post, I travelled home from Spain today which was eventful in itself, however upon picking up the pets, I discovered Smokey is very unwell. She’s already aging, she turns 3 in October, had a seizure in July, and is likely stressed out from the journey anyways. She doesn’t appear to be eating much beyond some seeds off the floor, at times she’s had no energy to go upstairs and has been mostly sitting on the floor trying to dig her tunnels back (collapsed in the car sadly), due to her extreme lack of energy all she’s been able to achieve is 2 wholes which she’s been curling up and napping in. I’ve also noticed her breathing quality is insanely bad, she varies between heavy fast breathing and really slow breathing with no inbetween. Based off these symptoms I believe she may have some form of respiratory infection, which I dealt with in my original gerbils, sparky contracted something and unfortunately died from it.
I don’t believe there is anything I can do and unfortunately there is a high chance that she is dying, I’m absolutely devastated and I’ve been sitting, chatting with her and having the cage open for time today as well as taking large amounts of footage of her while doing so.
Smokey means the world and everything in it to me, more than you could ever know and losing her is going to be very hard so please bear with me. I know people here like her too, from the videos with her and just general mentions/photos. I do have a couple of drafts with her which i plan to post whenever an optout for the ai filtering is available - I’m not allowing my poor gerbil to be tainted by the ai. I have years of living with her, and many,many, more photos of her than my old gerbils or spice so I know I’ll always be able to remember her clearly. I’ll keep you updated on her but I wouldn’t recommend you to keep your hopes high. I’m just going to spend what time with her I can.
Going home now, I appear to have avoided the mosquito bites. Though then again the time I got badly bitten they didn’t show up until I got home… And hello, I am alive. I’ve not posted here in over a month and really cannot be bothered with YouTube and their ai crap anymore, especially with them editing your videos with it now.
If anyone attacks any of these 3 characters before the 25th, you’re pretty much guaranteed a revenge if you have characters that I can draw (and there’s no emergencies / bad joint issues.. hopefully not)
(If anyone seeing this happened to draw or knows someone who drew Viridis for the dta she was originally made for, please let me know! I want to make sure I have all the art of my characters)
@Vonyx_Vyroh When you have a sleeve, it doesn’t just end like you’ve glued it on, it wraps around and you can see a little bit of the inside like the second image.
