Reminder: The recording of my debate with attorneys starts in 30 minutes. There is a live chat box to the right of the video for the first airing. Please be polite to others and the attorneys or moderators will block you from posting. You can't fast-forward until it ends 6 hours and 37 minutes later. I will be in the chat until I fall asleep in my recliner. I'm not doing a separate live chat after it finishes.

Hi everybody,

I had the opportunity to debate Richard Allen’s guilt with his attorneys Andy Baldwin and Jennifer Auger. You may have seen them on TV or YouTube stating they believe Rick is innocent, but not getting much pushback on certain facts from the hosts…until Dec. 22, 2025 when they were generous with their time to debate the case with me for over 6 hours (Auger had to leave after 3 hours).

My goal was to show what I believe are the undeniable facts that show Rick was Bridge Guy, possibly leading his attorneys to question his innocence and ask him about it and hopefully Rick finally telling the world what happened. I was hoping to ease the continuing stress for the victim’s families, and anyone who thinks Rick was falsely convicted, as the appeal possibly proceeds for years. Spoiler alert: I failed at my goal.

I will upload the full discussion (with minor edits) as a “premiere” which means there will be a chat window to the right of the video when I first make it public. You won’t be able to fast-forward until after the first airing. There will be chapters indicating different topics timestamps, so you don’t have to watch the full 6 hours after the premiere.

Saturday, January 17 at:
US: 8:00 am PT / 11:00 am ET
London: 4:00 pm
Sydney: 3:00 am (Sunday. Sorry, but it will still be going when you wake up at 8:00 am.)

If you join the chat and are wondering when the heck it will end: 6 hours and 37 minutes later.

I posted 3 “shorts” preview videos and a 16-minute preview of some of the discussion and some questions that will be answered in the full video. The topics were mostly related to case facts / Rick being guilty or not guilty, and not the drama surrounding the case like leaks, the defense getting thrown off the case, etc. I didn’t get to ask many questions I prepared because Jennifer spent 3 hours and Andy over 6 hours and it was on a workday and I wanted to respect their time, but it was a very interesting discussion and I learned new things about the case.

I know there are strong opinions in this case, but just ask that people be polite in their comments in the chat/under the videos. Andy and Jennifer are business owners who were nice enough to agree to debate some random fool like me for many hours on a workday during a holiday week and were polite in their disagreements with me about case analysis.

Thanks

Delphi case update: Some exhibits for Richard Allen’s appeal have been filed in 6 PDFs, most of them are related to Odinists, police depositions, and Volume 1, pages 154-212 has the transcript of Kathy Allen’s police interview from Oct. 2022 at Kathy’s job at the veterinarian. See my summary of her interview below, I’m not summarizing anything else or doing videos. These were given to his appellate attorneys as they continue to prepare to file his official appeal.

I've attached the photo from his cell after he hit his head against the wall repeatedly.

I uploaded a 35 MB zip file of the 6 PDFs: tomwebster.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Nov-10-2…

Volume 1, page 235: Jerry Holeman deposition.
Volume 3, page 15: Tobe Leazenby deposition.
Volume 3, page 186: Roland Purdy deposition.
Volume 4, page 89: Tobe Leazenby deposition.
Volume 4, page 212: Kevin Murphy deposition.
Volume 5, page 22: Ryan Winters deposition.
Volume 5, page 82: Name redacted (Indiana State Police officer who works undercover) deposition.

I summarized Kathy’s interview below:
She admitted they usually parked at the CPS building.
At first, Kathy said Rick didn’t tell her anything about the day of the murders and his time on the trail, but then she said Rick said he passed 3 girls who were weird and odd and he went home “And, so, he was like ‘I’m just going to go home. Because one of them had long black hair’…Or at least that’s what he told me. I don’t know.”
She got home at 6:00 or 6:30 and Rick was sleeping on the couch. He slept a lot due to depression.
Feb. 13, 2017: after seeing the news, Kathy wanted to help look for Abby and Libby. Rick said let people do their job. There were too many people out looking for them. Kathy said this during interview, but it’s not clear if she was quoting Rick: “You know if you're out there then you know anything could happen if they find stuff you know laying around they could blame you.”
Kathy saw the news about Abby and Libby and assumed the girls fell off the bridge. “I think the news came on. And then he’s like, well, I was out there. And I was like, “You were?” Because I was like ‘Well, that’s just great…anybody’s that’s walked out there is probably going to get talked to.”
“I said ‘If you were out there, you’ve got to go tell them that you were out there. So, he said they met him at the Save-A-Lot and took his phone and looked at it. And that’s the last he’s ever said about it.”
She asked Rick if he saw Abby and Libby and he said only the 3 girls. “It wasn’t like him to bring up something like that…’well, I saw these weird girls out there.’ I’m like, okay, weird as in how? I didn’t get any more detail that that.”

She didn’t think Rick would have gone to the trail to meet a stranger.
Rick traded stocks, but she doesn’t know if on his phone. Kathy had a handgun and also a revolver (from her Dad) in addition to Rick’s gun. They carried guns for fishing, not on trail.
Rick worked at the Chrysler plant for a short time before quitting due to allergic reactions to chemicals.
Rick ran over one of his Razer phones with the lawnmower. (It was unclear if this was his missing 2017 phone.)
They would go to the trails with family. They had been to Monon trail after 2017.
Kathy never heard of Tony Kline before he was in the news even though she grew up in Peru. She doesn’t think Rick knew him or Kegan.
Rick has deep depressions for 20-25 years, Kathy also has depression. Kathy thinks Rick is bipolar. He was doing well on Prozac in 2022, but it had been a few years of doctors trying to figure out the right medication and 2017 “that might have been the downward spiral at that time.” After her brother died in 2016, Rick’s mental health got really bad.
Kathy and Rick shared one email address, but she didn’t know if he had another. (Tom: Rick had the email address foojacka which is slang for a foot job.)
Rick doesn’t have any close friends. “He’s a hermit.”
When fishing or on trails, Rick wore jeans and tennis shoes usually. Rick didn’t wear hoodies out in public. Didn’t wear a scarf. “No, a scarf? Are you kidding me?”
Rick texts Kathy every day when she is at work, but didn’t remember Feb. 13.
She has seen the picture of BG a million times.
“Is that your husband?”
“No.”
“Could it be your husband?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“Because he would never do anything like that.”
When asked more specifically about the man in the photo, “Those clothes, or whatever, could that be your husband, size wise?”
“Well, size wise, yeah…but what does he have on his head? That’s what I’ve always been trying to figure out.” Kathy wondered if BG had brown hair or a hat and said Rick doesn’t have a brown hoodie. (Tom: but he had a dark green skull cap that was missing in 2022.)
There was back-and-forth in the transcript where the police probably showed the BG photo to Kathy and she said, “No, that nose looks huge. There’s no way.”
Kathy said Rick had jeans and blue coats.
Rick had pocket knives. She didn’t notice any missing knives since 2017.
Rick kept a round in his gun chamber at all times. He carries his gun on the outside in a holster.
When Rick would drink, he’d get “mouthy” but not physically violent with Kathy.
Rick tried to kill himself 3 years earlier. (2022 - 3 = 2019, but the 911 call in prior news reports was in 2015.) “He had the gun in his mouth so I called 911 on him and got him committed for like 6 months to Sycamore. (Tom: Sycamore Springs is a mental health / rehab facility in Lafayette.) And of course this was in all the period of trying to get his medicine changed…”
“I remember him throwing the gun on the couch and running out the door, and I’m like, ‘Too late, they’re coming.’”
“He just had trouble even getting through days for years.”
Rick got his blue Carhartt jacket “a couple years ago” when they went to Mackinac Island.

The end.

Hi, after over 600 hours since June, I finished my deep dive into the John O’Keefe and Karen Read case. The video is 3 hours and 51 minutes. I’ve uploaded it for members, but figured I would do a premiere which is when there is a chat box that you can watch along with me when I upload the public version. I tried to pick the best time/day for all time zones around the world including Australia but right now there isn’t a perfect time for everyone, so the premiere will be:
Saturday, Oct. 18 at:
US: 11:00 am PT/2:00 pm ET
UK: 7:00 pm
Australia: 5:00 am Sunday (Sorry, I’ll still be talking if you wake up at 8:30.)

I will post reminders 3 hours, and 15 minutes before. The video has been scheduled if you want to click the button under it to be notified when it starts.

Since it will be almost 4 hours of having an opportunity to chat, I don’t plan to do a separate chat after the premiere, but will do a members-only chat starting 1 hour before.
This is my last true crime deep dive. I’ve spent hundreds of hours each on my deep dive videos and they make me less than $1 / hour for my time and that is not helping pay my bills, but I may do shorter videos on other cases in the future.

Thanks
