We, Kodawari Channel, had the valuable opportunity to cover the process of Shibasaki Alloy Foundry's brass penguin production.

"We want to pass this technology on to the future."
With this strong desire in mind, Shibasaki Alloy Foundry continues to take on new challenges.

The traditional technique of "sand casting," which has been practiced since 1947, is now a rare and precious craft. As times change, the number of people inheriting this technique is decreasing. To preserve and pass down this technology, Mr. Shibasaki has launched a crowdfunding project to ensure its future.
