Starting today, I’ll post a daily FYI about dialysis! Let’s start with Hemoglobin for CKD patients.
In 2011, the US FDA issued a black box warning about the increased risk of death and major cardiovascular events when administering ESAs to Hgb levels of >=13.5g/dl
We drove to Alturas , CA, camped for the night and hiked a mile the next morning to see the solar eclipse.
I’m glad long weekends are still possible despite one of my co-nurses went home to the Philippines for a month. We do self-scheduling so I still get to save my PTOs for future travel plans. This was from Friday to Monday, 4 days long weekend.
As dialysis nurses, do you also get to have long weekends? Do you practice self-scheduling?
Hello nurses, my next video will be about my annual salary asa a chronic dialysis nurse. Comment down your questions so I can answer it and include for this weekend upload.
Hey nurses! Have you watched my latest video? It’s finally up, the one thing I’m working out for this year. Go check this out -> https://youtu.be/jFqWdsBYRPI
On the other hand, it’s time for another poll for next week’s video. Do you know that license renewals can actually be reimbursed by your workplace? Does your workplace reimburse license renewal?
I haven’t specifically stated my goals for this year since alam nyo na baka ma jinx but it’s definitely one of the things I’ve mentioned in this clip. Can you guess?
In a few I’ll be uploading a new video, and I’ll finally share what I’ve been working out (reason rin bakit I had a month hiatus).
Hey nurses, it’s been a month since my last upload and yes, I’m catching up by organizing my youtube home channel. Figured I needed to separate my recent uploads from my dialysis career journey (US) and create a new category.
What to expect for my upcoming video is a week in the life! I’m aiming to upload it this Sunday here in US or Monday in PH.
As a heads up, I’ve got a lot of things to do for this coming months, 4 months to be exact and can’t wait to share it. That’s my anniversary as a dialysis nurse here. So, keep posted!
The previous months had been cold as the winter, barely enduring. Then, came last week, an email instructing me to attest as a primary preceptor.
Like how this current transition of season to spring, it was definitely surprising and confusing. Weather is still cold, same thing with me, still adjusting on my 8month working as a dialysis nurse.
🌸👩⚕️First day of spring starts today, March 20 and so does a preceptor begin with the new nurse.
