As a child, I remembered my aunts would make these most glorious outfits. It would never fail to amaze me how a rectangle of fabric could turn into something so beautiful.
I had my first sewing machine at 6 years old, however it wasn't until school, I had revived my passion during Textiles class. I got my first 'proper' sewing machine in 2014 once I had finished my studies, from which I dipped in and out of sewing whenever I got inspired, however, it wasn't until the pandemic hit in 2020 when I decided I wanted to pursue a professional level of sewing in the form of garments.
Then this YouTube baby was born.
With my busy lifestyle, it meant I found it hard to set time aside for sewing. Not only has this channel made me accountable to progress in my sewing journey, but I have met so many great people like you along the way and I love the community we have here!

It has been so long since I’ve last posted - so much has been going on!
But I’m back with a new video this evening with my Me Made May Plans video so be sure to tune in!
I had an amazing time last week at the Chelsea Flower show, and managed to make a smock floral dress for the occasion!
It turned out so well and was super comfortable for the weather since it was a combination of very sunny ☀️ to mild winds 💨- so I appreciated the long sleeves to keep me warm! I think the choice of viscose was also a good call!
I will be posting a What I Made video soon too where I’ll share all the details of this make!
Anyway my loves, I hope you’re all well and can’t wait to see you all very soon!

🎀 Happy Bank Holiday Weekend y'all! 🎀
I don't have a video going up today but there will be one going live tomorrow 15:15 UK time!
Currently sewing a wrap jersey dress - the first time I am cloning an existing dress that I love! And so far so good!
The weather has also been picking up here which has been great for the garden! 🌿
So much blooming - always something new to see everyday! ☀️ Today the Bleeding Hearts have burst and Mr Bubble Bee 🐝 is hard at work! 💚

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
We had a really chilled one this weekend and decided to go on a shopping trip to Bicester Village!
I found some really fab pieces to add to my wardrobe staples and loved getting some sewing inspo ready for spring summer!
One thing I realised this weekend, is that my style really has become a lot more classical, elegant and timeless.
And although I love some trendier pieces still and floral, puff-sleeved dresses do have a place in my heart, I do find myself gravitating towards practical and timeless pieces and it makes me happy to think my style has got to this point.
Anyway, rabble aside, I hope you all had a nice weekend too! Would love to know what you got up to!

✨ Here's my latest make!✨
I've been wanting to make my own pyjamas for quite some time now and I absolutely love how these turned out! ❤️
The top is self drafted and the trousers were made using New Look's 6461.
The fabric is actually an IKEA curtain and is perfectly lightweight! I did have to line the top panel as it was a little sheer but perfect for warmer nights!
I think these look so cute and the comfort of these trousers are out of this world! 🌍
I will definitely be making again!

Since the days are getting longer, and spring/summer is finally on its way, I thought I would share with you my next sewing project for the warmer weather!
I have had this slinky jersey floral fabric for quite some time now and it definitely screams holiday vibes which is why I think it's been sitting in my stash for far too long!
But when I thrifted this sewing pattern for £2 last week, I immediately thought about this fabric - a match made in heaven! 🥰
