I'm an American photographer living in England who is into all things photography including landscapes, macro, drone, and underwater. I'm creating content for photography techniques as well as post-production work using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Luminar Neo, Photomatrix and I might mix in some Adobe Premiere. I have an underwater camera rig that I drop down into ocean sites to get underwater content. I also do drone videos of some spectacular locations.

I would say photography in the UK and Europe is great. But the truth is photography is great everywhere. You just need to get out and do it. We are just capturing light and painting with it in post-production. So get up and grab your camera and go take some pics.

In a few weeks, I'll be heading down to the Florida Keys for an exciting filming adventure. I'm gearing up for a 3-day shoot, and I can't wait to apply the lessons I've learned from my previous trip. Filming in the Keys offers a whole new level of challenges and rewards compared to Tampa or Sarasota. Crystal-clear waters, powerful currents, and rocky bottoms make for an entirely unique experience. But what truly sets it apart is the astounding diversity of marine life. I was on the South Skyway Pier Friday filming and was surprised at the lack of fish. I know red tide is a problem but I don't think I've ever seen it so bare. Maybe it was just my location. Is anyone catching anything? I was out on 3/16/23.
