Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today lifting up my life, my desires, and my relationship. Your Word instructs me to flee youthful passions, and I ask for Your strength to do just that. Give me the wisdom to establish clear boundaries and the courage to turn away from temptation before it even begins. Help me protect my purity—both physically and emotionally—so that I can honor You first.

Lord, I don't just want to run away from what is wrong; I want to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Cultivate these virtues in my own heart, and let them be the foundation of this relationship. Help us to seek Your will above our own chemistry, to trust Your perfect timing, to practice selfless love, and to walk in a peace that guards our minds against confusion and drama.

Finally, Father, I thank You that we do not have to walk this path alone. Surround us along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Place godly mentors, family, and friends in our lives who will hold us accountable, speak truth over us, and encourage us to stay focused on You.

Let our courtship be a reflection of Your grace and a testament to Your goodness. Keep our hearts pure and our eyes fixed firmly on You.

​Heavenly Father,

​Lord, I come before You today acknowledging that You are the source of all life, wisdom, and peace. Your Word tells me to guard my heart with all diligence, because everything I do flows from it.

​Father, I ask for Your grace and discernment to protect the gateway of my heart. In a world full of distractions, noise, and negativity, help me to filter what I allow into my mind and spirit.

​Guard my thoughts: When doubt, anxiety, or discouragement try to creep in, replace them with Your truth and promises.

​Guard my emotions: Protect me from bitterness, anger, and comparison. Fill my heart instead with Your love, joy, and contentment.

​Guide my desires: Align my passions and motivations with Your will, so that the choices I make bring honor to Your name.

​Purify my heart, Lord, and make it a reflection of Your goodness. May every word I speak, every action I take, and every relationship I nurture spring from a place of deep-rooted faith and integrity in You.
