My story just aired on CBS Chicago! 🤯
My Michael Jordan "Genesis Ticket" Story on CBS Chicago News! (The Only 1/1 Ticket from MJ's First Chicago Game)
It's been an unbelievable journey! I'm so grateful to Noel Brennan and CBS 2 Chicago for airing the full story about the only known surviving ticket to Michael Jordan's true "Genesis" game—a pre-season match in a high school gym, 23 miles from the old Chicago Stadium.
The Discovery: This full ticket, which I attended at age 13, sat under my dresser for 40 years. It was only found while I was looking for a completely different item!
The Rarity: The ticket is a PSA 1/1. It's the only one known to exist from this historical first "home" game.
The Memory: The noise being "sucked out of the gym" the moment Jordan dunked is a memory I'll never forget.
