This is the german premiere of a new amazing guitar concerto by British composer Joby Talbot with Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and conductor David Reiland. The performance took place at Musensaal, Rosengarten in Mannheim on December 6th 2025.

2025 ✅ Thank you to everyone who has been part of this year 🥂✨Here I share some of my Highlights.

- Debut with a major American orchestra 🇺🇸, I performed with the Baltimore Symphony and Maestra Joana Carneiro.
- ⁠Concerts in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia 🇨🇴 with Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León and Maestro Thierry Fischer.
- I made my debut with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de México 🇲🇽 at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, under the baton of Maestro Ludwig Carrasco.
- USA Concerts in California, Michigan, Arizona, etc 🇺🇸 I performed with Maestro José Luis Gómez and the San José Symphony.
- I performed with Maestro Juanjo Mena and Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife 🇪🇸
- I visited Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and played at Festival Casals with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico and Maestro Enrico Fagone. I had the honor of performing “Concierto Antillano” by Ernesto Cordero. I gave Masterclasses at the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico.
- I made the German premiere 🇩🇪 of Joby Talbot’s guitar concerto, “Ink Dark Moon”, with the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland Pfalz under the baton of Maestro David Reiland.

2025 ✅ Gracias a todos los que han sido parte de este año 🥂✨Aquí les comparto algunos de mis mejores momentos.

- Debut con un de las mejores orquestas de Estados Unidos 🇺🇸, actué con la Sinfónica de Baltimore y la Maestra Joana Carneiro.

This past days I have been very busy preparing my next concerts in Germany 🇩🇪 I will play Joby Talbot’s guitar concerto: Ink Dark Moon. This will be the German premiere, with the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz under the baton of David Reiland. I’m very excited to perform this concerto by the renowned British composer Joby Talbot (famous for his scores for the BBC, as well as for films and ballets).

It’s already one of my favorite guitar concertos. It’s evocative, virtuosic and spectacular and it has even fireworks at the end. It was premiered by Miloš Karadaglić in 2018 with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Proms in the Royal Albert Hall in London 🇬🇧

Estos últimos días he estado muy ocupado preparando mis próximos conciertos en Alemania. 🇩🇪 Interpretaré el concierto para guitarra de Joby Talbot, “Ink Dark Moon”. Este será el estreno alemán, con la Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz bajo la dirección de David Reiland. Estoy muy emocionado de interpretar este concierto del reconocido compositor británico Joby Talbot (famoso por sus partituras para la BBC, así como para películas y ballets).

Este ya es uno de mis conciertos para guitarra favoritos. Es evocador, virtuoso y espectacular, e incluso tiene fuegos artificiales al final. Miloš Karadaglić lo estrenó en 2018 con la BBC Symphony Prchestra en los Proms, en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres 🇬🇧

I'll be performing with the Battle Creek Symphony under the baton of Anne Harrigan at the Pennfield Performing Arts Center. As a curious fact, the Kellogg’s Company, famous for its breakfast cereals, is headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan.
