This one is the loudest thing I have written. It is a berserkr chant, sung entirely in Old Norse, built on tagelharpa, frame drums and male choir. The lyrics do not describe a battle. They describe what happens to a man before the battle, when the fury Óðinn sends takes the seat where he used to be.

This one was hard to finish. Not because of the music, but because of where it comes from.
EFTIR ORRUSTU is about the silence after the fight. The moment the noise stops and you're left alone with what it cost you. I think everyone who has come out the other side of something heavy knows that silence.

The body heals. What the warrior carried home did not. This is the heaviest song I've made, and the one I'm proudest of.

The gods chained the wolf Fenrir not for what he did, but for what they feared he might become.
Only Týr was brave enough to place his hand in the wolf's jaws as a pledge. When Fenrir realized he'd been trapped, he took the hand.
It is a dark story, but there's a truth in it: chains rarely kill the fire in someone. They feed it.
