Mythic Harmonies is the work of Calogero Nicosia, a Belgian composer and researcher. Songs from the ancient North.
Old Norse vocals, frame drums, tagelharpa, war horns, and ritual chants drawn from the Poetic Edda, the Prose Edda, and Viking Age archaeology. Music that does not imitate what is lost, because nothing survives of how it was played, but evokes what it might have felt like: beneath winter skies, before battle, around the funeral pyre.
Viking battle songs. Funeral and ritual chants. Norse mythology brought to sound.
Made for:
Writers building fantasy worlds
D&D and RPG sessions in Norse settings
Deep focus, meditation, ritual
Anyone who feels the pull of the old ways
New tracks regularly. Lore videos on Odin, Freyja, Ragnarök, Yggdrasil, the runes, and the gods.
Every song is published with its Old Norse text and English translation, alongside sourced guides to the myths, at mythic-harmonies.com
The North remembers.

I need your help with our latest song, SKJÖLDR MÍNN.
Compared with our previous releases, this video has reached very few people. Honestly, it feels like YouTube has barely shown it to you. I don’t know why, but I don’t want this song to disappear before our community has even heard it.
If you have a few minutes, please listen to the song and watch the clip. If it speaks to you, leave a like and tell me in the comments which moment stayed with you. And if you know someone who loves Viking dark folk, share it with them.
Watch SKJÖLDR MÍNN here: https://youtu.be/ROZH5EjuopU
Your support helps Mythic Harmonies keep reaching new listeners. Thank you for standing with me. 🛡️

But another prophecy is awakening. I will also join Vigruna on her channel for Slít Böndin, where two voices will rise together to set Fenrir free.
