hey folks! glad you’re enjoying today’s video so far :)
i’m sure many of you have already seen the recent hbomb video, and if you haven’t you should, but i wanted to put a highlight on this side channel essay as well!! and add some thoughts —

the knowledge of how bad illuminaughtii’s autism-related videos makes me (someone who adores citing sources, has a psych degree, and is Autistic) want to make actual good videos on these topics. it’s frustrating bc i’ve had video ideas similar to these topics and been discouraged to make them bc of the popularity of videos like hers. but also i am So Political and they would take me SO long (esp bc youtube is not my job) & ik the prevailing public idea would still be hers lol.
