I'm Lori an over 50 almost empty nester living a midlife with purpose, while trying not to become invisible. I'm a busy working mom who also runs a small business and am preparing for retirement in the next 5 years. I've been cursed with PCOS since being a teen and am now battling with perimenopause as well, lets just say my hormones have been going crazy for years.

I'll be sharing my everyday Gen-x life; reflections, advice, tips and strategies to make midlife living more enjoyable and efficient for busy working moms in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond.

We made it to Disney, our first day was amazing! It’s great to be where the sunshine is and to have family time together.

Spent a beautiful 2hrs out at one of our parks today, walking and contemplating midlife and the future. 🤔
It’s been a long winter here and also a gloomy spring, it’s been hard to stay motivated, but we have to push ourselves, otherwise we stay isolated at home. ☁️🏠

We had a lovely night out last night celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary.🥂

We went to our favourite Italian restaurant, the food was amazing! 🇮🇹

It’s been very chaotic around here the last couple of months, which is why you haven’t seen as many videos. I hope to get more videos recorded soon and share more frequently. Thank you for sticking around. 🙏
