It’s been a tough week. A day hasn’t gone by without it ending with me either laughing at how bad the day went or just staring into the void because of how bad the day went.

Then the week ended with the passing of a dear friend and mentor to so many of us in the photography community. Jeremy Hall was such a kind and sincere person. He bravely fought cancer the past few years. He stayed positive to the very end.

My heart goes out to his family and the countless number of friends he had whose lives were better for knowing him.

It pains me to no end that I didn’t go out to see him like I told myself so many times I should do. It pains me even more that his family can’t have a proper memorial for him in these times.

Rest In Peace our beloved friend. We will always miss you.
