I’ve been wanting to post about this for some time! A while ago I got to visit Nashville, Tennessee. For those of you who don’t know, even though my original music is mainly soul and R&B, I have had so many musical influences from a young age and enjoy a wide range of different styles. I also write and produce songs in these different styles.

One of the genres I’ve grown to love in the last 7 or 8 years is Country! So it was really cool to experience the most iconic country music city in the world. I had never before seen guitars hung up at an airport 😂🎸 Everywhere I turned there was live music, which was great to see as a musician 👌

As shown in the photos, I visited the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where I got to learn things I didn’t know about the origins of country music, and even about some musical instruments. I also got to see Elvis’s gold plated Cadillac.

I enjoyed watching a show at the famous Grand Ole Opry, which to me felt like the Royal Albert Hall for Country lol. And of course, I soaked in the city and its traditions!

I’ve left out photos of the cockroaches we encountered at a diner on night one 😆 but it wasn’t too bad… they were much smaller than the cockroaches I grew up with in Lagos, Nigeria haha.

Shout out to the wifey ‪@Katerina_Dimitri‬ for turning me onto Country Music properly, and for coming on the adventure with me ❤️🤠
