Ask and you shall receive. I’ve always believed that and have asked for and received many good things including many wonderful connections online. I have been truly honored to work with and get to know each of you. My mission has never been about getting money for the sake of getting money. I always knew that as long as I stayed genuine and put my best foot forward, eventually money would come.
Unfortunately, something has recently happened that requires urgent attention, and has made believing very difficult for me. Last week, my wife and I’s landlord randomly told us that he’s selling the property and we need to move by 4/30. This has been our first home together. We’ve lived here since 2018 and in that time have created so many wonderful memories. So, as you can perhaps imagine, hearing the landlord apathetically tell us we need to move in a month was devastating.
I’ve been questioning all week how we could do everything right– pay rent consistently on time, help around the property, et cetera– and things still end up so wrong? It has been a struggle all week.
The simple fact of the matter is we don’t have the funds to move at the moment and that’s why I’m taking the initiative and asking for help here.
I know some of you might think less of me. Asking for money has never been something I intended to do. So, please know, creating this is an absolute last resort.
I just want to show my wife, Reshma, that good things do happen to good people. I feel that in many ways I’ve failed her and I’m powerless to rectify it within the next month. That’s why I’m asking for support. I need to show her– and myself to an extent– that there is immense power in having faith. And I’ve really been struggling with that all week…
Hearing how upset she has been makes it even harder to stay strong, but I know that if I don’t, the worst is more likely to happen.
I must keep the faith as I’ve said over the years to you all and to myself. And in this dire moment– what seems to be my darkest hour– it seems my faith is all I have.
That’s why I am humbly asking for your support, so that we can comfortably move out and put this chapter of our lives behind us. We have literally started our lives together here and it pains me to have to leave so quickly, but there’s nothing we can do about it. The landlord wants to sell and that’s that…
If you feel less of me, I understand. If you feel I have no place trying to empower others online, I get that. If you want to unfollow me, there would be no hard feelings. It’s taken a lot of courage for me to write this and admit my vulnerabilities at the moment. What you decide to do now is your choice and I completely respect it.

When do you think thinking becomes too much?
Don't get me wrong, thinking is important.
But so is taking action.
So many of us have the habit of overthinking things to death...
"What if this happens?" or "that happens" or "what if they don't actually mean what they say?"
We've all been there, but ultimately, overthinking is a fruitless waste of time.
Success or positive outcomes rarely ever. if ever at all, come from thinking.
They come from being persistent, trusting the process, and having faith in yourself and those around you.
