The 26-year-old USWNT forward is reportedly set to join the San Diego Wave, her hometown club, through 2030. At 12 years old, Macario’s family moved from Brazil to the U.S. for the opportunity to play in storied SoCal. After a standout college career at Stanford, she moved abroad to play for global giants Lyon and Chelsea.
