Hello everyone just a progress update on my Foxhole Video/Movie project:

9.92TB of gameplay recorded (Wars 108, 109, 110) Which is roughly 165 hours (or 6 days, 21 hours) of raw footage so far. ✅

Script for War 108 finished (7.5k+ words, 30 pages) ✅

Started Script for War 109, already half way through ✅

Warden from start to finish, no Coli here! 🔷

Planning to record a Fourth War when the Airborne update drops - because apparently nearly 10TB of footage still isn't enough.

Gameplay, 3D animation, skits, memes, backstory, lore dumps, battles, struggles & triumphs, defeats and victories - all woven into a full cinematic journey from my own personal experience, from rookie to hardened vet.

Target release: Late Nov–Early Dec 2025.

It's going to be massive and ultimately my biggest upload ever.

I can safely say the video will be AT LEAST 4 to 5 hours long.

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of the Holdfast Video. Basically it's been hit with a copyright strike from an automated system, despite using the song beforehand in countless videos with no issues.

I'm currently working on other solutions while I wait for the copyright claim to be resolved. I'm hoping I can release the video sometime this weekend.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you—truly, from the bottom of my heart.

Reading through all of your kind, thoughtful, and supportive messages has meant the world to me. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened up about everything, but seeing the encouragement, the advice, and the genuine care from so many of you has been overwhelming in the best way possible.

I also want to apologize for not being able to reply to everyone, but I want you all to know that I read every single comment. Every piece of advice, every kind word—it all meant something to me, and I’ve taken it all in. Also, I just want to say a massive thank you for all the kind words, prayers, and well-wishes for me and my family. My partner, my daughter, and I are all perfectly healthy and doing great now. Your support truly meant a lot to us.

One thing I really took to heart was the reminder to just enjoy gaming again. So, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing. I’ve started going through my Steam backlog, playing games purely for fun, and I’ve really gotten into The Spell Brigade, Enter the Gungeon, Mortal Sin, Slay the Spire, and loads more Indie & Roguelike games I never knew I’d enjoy this much.

And last night, I played R.E.P.O with some friends for the first time, and I can confidently say it was some of the most fun and the hardest I’ve laughed in a game in years. If people are interested, you can expect a R.E.P.O Experience video in the future because that session was something else.

Another great suggestion was hosting gaming events in Discord to connect more with you all, and I wholeheartedly agree. I have really fond memories of playing with you guys and making those videos together, like the Sapper Experience in Holdfast: Nations at War and the Vietcong Experience in Rising Storm 2. Those moments not only made for some amazing content but also led to real friendships—I even met someone through those games who is now a true friend I talk and play with regularly, and who’s now a Discord mod. I’d love to create more moments like that again.

On the side, I’ve also been working on the Holdfast: Nations at War Frontlines (WW1) video, and it’s coming along really well. The devs even reached out and hooked me up with their 3D models and assets purely out of kindness, which is going to help immensely—not just for this video but for future Holdfast content as well. Huge respect to them.

Another idea that came up was streaming more to connect with people and just chill with different games I enjoy. That’s something I’ll definitely consider more once the Holdfast video is done.

But yeah, once again—thank you all. You’re absolute legends, and I appreciate every single one of you.

Hey everyone,

A lot of people have been asking if I'm okay, and yes, I am. But I feel like this might be a good time to be more open. I think a lot of YouTubers aren’t always transparent with their audience, and sometimes that’s for the best—but I also want to be honest with you all.

Me and my family were extremely sick for two weeks. At one point, my daughter had to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance. I won’t go into details, but we were all very ill. Thankfully, we’re all good now. That has affected my ability to edit and record, so the Holdfast video has been postponed quite a bit. I don't know when it will be finished, but I’m editing footage now, and so far, it’s going well!

But lately, I’ve been struggling with something that’s been on my mind for a while. I open up Steam, look at my library, and actually shiver at the thought of playing a game just for fun. More often than not, I just close Steam and move on.

Being a gaming channel will do that to you. I don’t play games because I want to—I play what people expect me to. I always have Shadowplay running, thinking about content, thinking about recording. And as I type this up, I honestly can't remember the last time I played a game without thinking about making a video on it. I’m known for Total War, but I always wanted to be known for just entertaining people, regardless of the game. And right now, I feel... stuck.

Maybe it’s burnout, maybe it’s the pressure of making content, or maybe mixing gaming with work has taken the joy out of it. When I try something new, I never know if it’ll work. The reception to Manor Lords was amazing—it gave me a real confidence boost that maybe I could play what I want. But then the Space Marine 2 video flopped, barely hitting 50k views, and it just felt like I was repeating the same pattern as my old channel, SyntheticKill. Back then, I was only watched for Rust, and by the end of it, I hated what I was doing. I don’t want that to happen again with Total War, the other games I've uploaded here, and the channel itself.

I just want to play what I want, without worrying about views, finances, or the stability of my channel. But at the same time, I don’t know how to escape that cycle without it affecting my way of life or this channel financially and mentally. Maybe the balance is doing one Total War video and one of something else? But even then, I’m getting tired of the faceless, non-commentary style of Total War videos. It was refreshing to show my voice and humour with Manor Lords and see it be received well, but then I got hit hard with that same kind of style with Space Marine 2 right after.

I don’t really know if there’s a point to this post—I just wanted to be open with you all. I appreciate you, and I appreciate the kind words from my last post. Don’t worry, Total War isn’t going anywhere, but I do want to eventually upload what I want, and that’s a scary step to take.

I don't know when that may be. The more I think about it, the more I want to do it... and also don’t? I think a good time to take that route will most likely be when I'm done with the Medieval II and Fall of the Samurai Experience videos. In between those, I want to upload one-off games I actually want to play, along with the personally preferred commentary style.

I also want to bring that style into Total War content. I've had a fun idea in my head for years now—returning to the Otomo with commentary and loads of challenges. I’m also taking a huge step in this direction with the planned Foxhole video. I’m going to make that video regardless of the views or its potential failure, because I truly enjoyed playing that game so much that it’s now my 4th most played game on my Steam profile.

I guess what I’m trying to say is… I don’t really know the point of this post. Maybe I just needed to get it off my chest. Maybe I just wanted to be open with you all about where my head is at. Either way, thanks for reading, and thanks for sticking with me.

But yeah… we’ll see what happens.

Looks like Holdfast WW1 unanimously won for February's video! Don't worry, The Forever Winter should be out in April after the next Medieval II Experience!

For those who voted for Holdfast, starting TONIGHT I shall be playing every night for around a week or two to gather and record footage for the video. So if you want to come play and have the chance of bumping into me, now's the time!
