How do you price your product or service??
When it comes to pricing, you shouldn't take anyone's advice, including your own.
You should only take the customer's advice.
And the way the customer gives you advice is by running a test and just actually seeing, will they buy it or not?
The nice thing is, if you raise the price and you go too high and people stop buying, and sales decrease, then you can always lower it again. Not a big deal.
Amazon does this every second at scale using machine learning. But as a small business, we don't have the money or resources to test like this. So just change your price, whether it be during sales calls, or on your website. And see how people respond.
But not testing your price is the most expensive thing that you can do in a business, from the profit that you should be making, but aren't.
There's a sweet spot when it comes to pricing. It's called price elasticity. You could actually increase your prices and some customers, but ultimately make more profit.
