Little backstory about this video, I remember creating this look and this was the time or period I’d create content at night, my usual time was 10pm - 3am and I remember while creating this one the power went off, if you’re living in Nigeria or Nigerian you’ll understand NEPA took the light and it was 12am already no sign of them bringing it back so I decided to sleep with the makeup on and continue in the morning when everywhere is bright (which I don’t advice sleeping with makeup on but that time content must be created no matter what 😀). I remember laying down to sleep and next the power came back up (NEPA brought back the light) so I continued filming the makeup look 😀 I remember somewhere in the video I spoke about it for a bit 😀 in the end was it worth it? Yes indeed, cos it brings back memories and I love talking about it.
Years later it’s getting recommended to people who haven’t seen it. A friend of mine 🫶🏾 drew this to my attention after seeing it on her feed and I couldn’t help but remember the moments which I don’t think I’ll forget in a hurry, and that’s the beauty of YouTube. We all got story to tell, don’t forget that.
I hope this encourages someone out there not to give up on those moments that it doesn’t look like it’s working. Take it one step at a time, you’ll slowly but surely get there.
