UTS_RC; The Art of Scale Engineering

Welcome to UTS_RC, the home of high-precision RC audits and technical builds. Since establishing the brand in 2024, I’ve dedicated this channel to the intersection of mechanical performance and scale realism.

Whether we are performing a **deep-dive audit** on a 1/64 desktop crawler or a full-scale overhaul of a 1/12 trail truck, I focus on the engineering details that matter. From custom weathering and 3D-printed interiors to performance-tuning with brass weights and metal upgrades, we push budget rigs to hobby-grade limits.

Well, it's time to part with the Tamiya M06 VW bus. Been a great build, and being a VW nut, loved this... Built as a shelf queen, mounted with magnets, lowered shocks.... Any UK interest..

Well,.it's time for a new project, so I need to make abit of room. The Fat Fox is up for sale, available for UK delivery. Built as per instruction, completed with box art, body fixed with magnets to keep the body clean. Runs, buts never has, only to test and that was indoors in my kitchen.. you will need your own radio gear and a battery...

Its taken far too long for me to complete this, but it's done.. built as a shelf queen on a rolling chassis. Build video will be coming out soon, with a pretty honest review of it.... But for this one, we are done. #Tamiya #934

Well the FTX Trooper has had it's first outing, have to say for a RTR, out the box, it's brilliant.. only issue I can see at the moment is the F/B/R function, the reverse is alittle temperamental in when it wants to work... Full unbox and running video coming soon. Happy Sunday folks...#ftx #trooper #crawler

What better time to paint a car, fair to say there isn't much moisture in the UK at the moment, due to us having a heatwave.. but that's the buggy done, ready for my very first off road season next week... Wish me luck!..

After a few days of painting other vehicles for a mate at work, it's time to turn my attention to the Yokomo buggy. When this first arrived it just had the paint I had left over, but it's not in keeping with Team UTS colours... So the first to change, a new body.

So, the old Yokomo RO2.0 has been sitting around the house, crying out for some attention. Big shout out to ‪@RC.89‬ for sorting the electrics out for me and getting them soldered in... Needless to say it's had it's first outing earlier this week... OMG, IM HOOKED!.. I thought the Touring car was good fun, this is another level! Would you like to see me take part in the next off road series?.....

So I've wanted to have a go at building my own rig for a while, so thanks to ‪@24Yepp‬ I printed his chassis kit, and one of his bodies and gave it a go, no where near perfect, but it works! Plenty to think about on the next build... Please check out Trey's channel, he makes it look super easy...😎👍🏼
