Today I witnessed something which is very unfortunate for justice delivery. I won't take the name of any person because I fear, if someone can do something. Let's understand this through a story.
A person named 'X' who is the very important member of High Court Bar Association, consider it for a position like secretary. This person comes and meet one Justice of High Court 'Y', on 23rd January 2026.
I saw this thing, and I was thinking it may be related to some Bar and Bench discussion or for something else. But I have one thing in my mind, why should the executive member meet some random HC justice for this purpose? But today I got the answer.
On 28th of January 2026, there is one case which went for almost 25 minutes and you know what the Respondent in this matter was person 'X'. I witnessed the appellant, who was a innocent party with having each and every proof, that I believe a normal person if see can verify what he is saying is true. The Appellant's lawyer was genuinely a brilliant advocate, I mean he has provided so much clarity and beautifully presented the evidence the petition was signed by 170 students who have witnessed this matter of 324 and 325 of IPC.
You know one more thing the Client of Advocate 'X' is having some influence of Superintendent of Police of a district.
At last who won? The respondent advocate who was silent throughout the proceedings just merely two High Court Judgements of the same high court. And Judge disregarded the Supreme Court Ruling on 391 of crpc. Citing he is not convinced with the arguments of the Judges.
Now I am leaving this on you, what do you think about the meeting between Advocate 'X' and the Judge 'Y'.
In my opinion I think the justice lady was feeling ashamed by the person who was giving a judgement.
