Today marks 10 YEARS since the day I made the WATERMALONE INSIDE OF WATERMALONE video! When I pressed “post”, I had no idea it would still be making people laugh all over the world 10 years later… 😳

It’s just a goofy, 6 second video, but it ultimately led me to only ever have to work for myself after graduating from college, provide for friends and family at times, and now be able to independently create my passion project, @whhwseries, without relying on a studio.

It’s been exactly 10 years and 2 weeks since I posted my first video on YouTube, and I’m so thankful to every one of you who’s chosen to subscribe, share my videos, and support me for over a decade now!

For the past several years, especially since the pandemic, I’ve deeply thought about the type of content I want to make and the kind of impact I want to leave on the world. So 2 years ago, I started working on the biggest and most important project I’ve ever taken on in my life––I even stopped posting on social media for a while in order to focus on it.

It’s an animated web series called “What Had Happened Was”, where I’ll be retelling stories from the Bible in a digestible, entertaining, and compelling way for people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs!

It will combine all of my talents in social media, film, and entertainment-–like acting, directing, writing, and producing––with some of my greatest passions––like anime, music, history, and comedy––in a way that has the opportunity to impact people’s lives forever.

I’ve already signed on nearly 30 entertainers and artists to voice act in it, and an Emmy Award-winning animation studio to produce it, but I need money if this is going to get made!

A week ago, I launched a Kickstarter campaign for it, and it’s already raised over $35,000! However, we still have a long way to go, and LESS THAN 2 WEEKS left to raise the rest!

So right now, I need help. If I’ve ever made you laugh, cry, or think about something in a new way, I’d like you to consider pledging money to back this project––even if it’s just a dollar!

If you can’t contribute financially, please share the Kickstarter with your friends, family, and on your social media platforms.

Lastly, please pray. Storytelling is one of the main mediums Jesus used to share about the Kingdom of God, and this is no different. This series will be a way for people who may never step foot in a church or read a Bible to be introduced to, know, and receive Jesus for themselves.
