[INFO] Taehyung’s Korean fanbase is attracting attention from Media and the Military for hosting an event near Taehyung’s military base to celebrate 100 days of his enlistment
The fanbase @KTH_Supporters collaborated with the Compose Coffee branch near Taehyung’s deployment site and gave out 100 free cups of coffee and rice cakes to soldiers. Word about the event quickly spread to the military base and many soldiers came and the 100 cups of coffee were soon sold out. The fanbase extended their act of kindness to soldiers and further gave out another Batch of 100 cups of coffee and rice cakes
Soldier A from V’s unit who visited the event said in his interview with media “I thought it was an event prepared by the agency, but I was surprised to hear that fans raised money to make it happen. I will deliver 100 days rice cakes to V in the unit." Soldier B, from Taehyung’s base who came to visit after hearing about the event said, “I have never seen V in person in the unit, but I will be grateful to him because it is an event held by fans with good intentions.”
An official from Kim Taehyung Kim Supporters Korea, who came from Seoul for the event, said, "We prepared an event to mark the 100th day of V's military service and express our gratitude to the soldiers who are working hard together. I hope V completes his remaining military service in good health, as his fans will be waiting for him”
The fanbase also hung banners around Taehyung’s base with QR codes to celebrate the release of FRI(END)S
Banners celebrating the release of new music were also hung around the 2nd Corps in Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon
