I keep seeing videos online recently discussing pit bulls and whether they’re safe dogs to get or not.. it’s bothering me so I’m just going to say this, I have a red nose pit named Luna and she’s amazing! I’ve also rescued pits in the past, my sister has one and I’ve grown up around them and I can promise you it’s all about the person raising the dog and not the breed. They are super loyal and protective dogs, and yes they can also do a lot of damage if they bite someone but that shouldn’t make the dog just inherently bad though. As long as you treat them properly and train them, you will have the best dog ever but if you abuse the dog and don’t train them then of course they could end up biting you or someone else.. that’s with EVERY dog tho.. and it drives me nuts that because of the myth that pits have lockjaw when they bite, they are just automatically looked at as if they’re dangerous and It’s so unfair to the breed as a whole especially when it’s not even true! Thank you for coming to my TedTalk lol rant over.. 🐾❤️
