Help I think I'm entering into a reading slump 😭😭😭.

It's happened too many times lately that I'll pick up a book, read some of it, and then put it down again because it felt too slow or I didn't like the writing style.

Any suggestions on how to break this cycle? I'm open to book recs as well.

Um...hi guys! I'm back! Happy belated Thanksgiving! I felt that it was finally time for me to return to you. I've looked through everyone's posts today and I'm relieved to find nothing has changed for the worse (lol, totally kidding 😂). I've missed you all, but at the same time my break was much needed. I'll probably be on YT less from now on, but fear not, you can always reach me anytime ☺️.

Oh! And I PROMISE I will get my OC for Thag's Secret Santa posted soon. (Special thank you to Melissa for reminding me about that 😂).

And now, for the fun things I did while I was gone...

I watched two sequel movies I've never seen before, but you need to guess what they are. I'll give you a hint: "Home is behind, the world ahead..."
Spoiler alert: I loved these two movies.

Wingfeather S3 is out! Okay....this is super unpopular...but with the exception of Episode 3 (and potentially Episode 5 tonight when it releases), I'm kind of disappointed. It was a slow start, but hopefully it will finish strong.

Homestead (the Angel Studios series) is finally out with more episodes! I don't know if anyone else here watches it, but if anyone does I would love to gab about it with you. My dad and I are both hooked.

I read some great books! I finished the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. The first two books were 5 stars, but the third was disappointing in my opinion (it was still good, but definitely not as good as the first two). I also read The Labors of Hercules Beal, a Gary D Schmidt book (because we all love him, right? 😂) and it was AMAZING. It's been a while since I read The Wednesday Wars, but this one might have topped it for me.

And finally, I prepared my reading journal for 2026. Just so you know, this was completely copied off something I saw on Pinterest. I'm not taking credit for the idea. But I love it! It's so pretty! 🤩
