I want to inspire everyone to adventure more often. I especially want to inspire single/solo folks to adventure solo and not feel like they can only enjoy outdoor adventure if they can find someone to go with them. Adventure! Don't wait for someone else to come along and "allow" you to adventure.
Hi, my name is Carie (also known on trail as 'Putt Putt') and I love adventure. I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2007, the John Muir Trail in 2013, and the Wonderland trail in 2020. I try to fit adventure into my life as much as possible. This channel will feature videos on great backpacking loops (making planning for solo adventurists easy), bikepacking trips, gear tips, tricks, and reviews, as well as other outdoor adventure goodies. Follow me as I adventure by backpack, bike, etc. And just get out there and adventure!

Hi Folks! The final episode of my Arizona Trail Thru Hike is scheduled to post tomorrow (Friday the 30th) at Noon Eastern time! I'll admit, I was a little sad putting this one together. It was a beautiful trail and a beautiful adventure for me. I've missed the trail almost every day since completing it back in April. Thru hiking life is so simple, yet so rewarding and fulfilling. Hey Folks, I finally edited the first video of my AZT thru hike from this spring!!! It is scheduled to post Tuesday at noon Pacific time! I hope everyone enjoys the video as much as I enjoyed the trail and as much as I'm enjoying reliving the trail while I edit these videos! Cheers!
