Mercato Metropolitano is London’s sustainable community market, home to three vibrant locations in Elephant & Castle, Mayfair and Wood Wharf. Across our sites, more than 70 independent traders serve over 1,000 dishes from around the world, creating lively spaces where people come together to share food, culture and community.

We began in 2016 by transforming an old paper factory in Elephant & Castle into a thriving hub for good food and social impact. Our Mayfair market is set within the beautifully restored St Marks Church, a Grade I listed building that now features three floors of international kitchens, bars and dining spaces beneath its vaulted ceiling. In Canary Wharf, our Wood Wharf site brings street food, craft drinks, live music and community events to a unique riverside setting.
