अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाघ दिवस हर साल 29 जुलाई को मनाया जाता है ताकि दुनिया भर में बाघों के संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाई जा सके। बाघों की घटती संख्या और उनके प्राकृतिक आवासों के विनाश के कारण यह दिवस मनाने की शुरुआत 2010 में रूस के सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग में हुई थी। इसका उद्देश्य बाघों की आबादी को बढ़ाना और उनके रहवास को संरक्षित करना है। इस दिन विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से लोगों को बताया जाता है कि बाघ पारिस्थितिक संतुलन के लिए कितने आवश्यक हैं और इनके बिना जैव विविधता पर बुरा असर पड़ सकता है।
