The Robinson family was scheduled to embark on a five-year expedition to investigate a remote planet; however, an act of sabotage orchestrated by the cunning Dr. Zachary Smith, who inadvertently found himself trapped on the spacecraft, resulted in them being stranded in space for three years. Throughout this time, the Robinsons, along with pilot Don West, Dr. Smith, and their reliable robot, journeyed from one planet to another, perpetually seeking a means to return to Earth.

June Lockhart, who played Maureen Robinson in Lost in Space, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 100. Her warmth, intelligence, and strength made her a beloved figure in television history. She may be gone, but her legacy will continue to shine among the stars.
