Spent all day scanning soundtrack material for the Ring Archive. Adjusting, trimming and such for tomorrow.
Golly it was a nice feeling to actually get into a groove and just autopilot. Haven’t had that in ages.

He would have been 69.
I’ll do what I can to honour his legacy, and I know others will do the same.
If I can’t or don’t feel like celebrating my birthday very much these days, I will celebrate the fact that he lived. What an amazing and influential life it was.

I wrote a big blurb about how grateful I am for my proxy and Insta decided to lock the post in a “preparing” state and I lost it after waiting far too long for a picture to simply post on that app.
Urgh, those were my last spoons for the day.

Some call her the Lime Spectre, others The Unwavering Sadness.
Locals whisper of "Cursed power" within the walls of the forgotten shop : dead CRTs flickering to life with jagged imagery and arcade cabinets screaming with digitized static. Those who venture close to the hear a low-frequency hum—the sound of scanlines vibrating through speakers that haven't seen electricity in decades—muttering things that sound dangerously like invitations.

Teenagers, fueled by bravado, claim a cold weight settles on their chests the moment they step into the dark condemned building. They speak of a gaze that doesn't just watch, but pulls. Children trade warnings on the playground about the "Spiral Stare"—swirling red eyes that manifest in the shadows. They say once you lock eyes with the burning red stare, your soul is 'taped over' and your fate is sealed.

Bound to the physical world and stripped of her executive function, Sadakao has become a distorted ghoul between reality. She is a spirit of "media rot," her essence entangled with the scent of decaying VHS tapes and the chemical citrus hints of banned, neon-coloured energy drinks. Her mind is a fragmented loop fixated on two compulsions: the sadistic thrill of the prank and an endless, obsessive "to-do" list of games and movies she can never finish.

She doesn't just haunt the aisles; she is the static between the frames, the kill screen of pixels, watching, and waiting for a fresh audience to torment.
