My apologies again for the extremely late follow-up, but it came to attention just today that yt-dlp from the stable releases on August 1st onward have fixed the issues affecting the application's MLB.TV extractor. Granted, there's nothing I can say that can excuse the fact that I did not notice this until the final day of the season, but I'm glad it's working again. If there's anything you might want me to upload that's already found on YT, let me know.

This means I am at an impasse. I don't what I can do about it, but since May or so, I have been unable to download any broadcasts from MLB.TV . This came at an especially bad time because this was while I was making considerable progress on a tutorial on how to download broadcasts from MLB.TV using yt-dlp along with ffmpeg, and now I can't do anything. I can't in good conscience give out a tutorial on how to use software if said software doesn't work.
I have a clip coming up in about ten minutes with a word from DirecTV's Chief Content Officer Rob Thun about some of the reasons why you don't want broadcast TV as an alternative to regional sports networks.
