After months of hearing a intermittent creaking noise. I finally figured out what was creating this unpleasant noise in my Hyundai Ioniq Electric 2020. Turns out the rear motor mount bushing was damaged. I found it leaking upon visual inspection. This was a give away sign once I saw that it had drip marks. Previously I could not find any evidence of any torn bushing or anything. So I went ahead and replaced the rear motor mount bushing. I also went ahead and replaced the sway bar links given the mileage on the car 124k miles. And in conclusion the suspension is back to feeling great. Which makes me really happy 😊.
